I still think he will be the odd man out unless he shows something during training camp.

He is young... we will have to wait and see.

i see the skins keeping 6 WRs. Coles, Gardner, Jacobs, Russell, McCants and Johnson in that order. its the 4 RB thing that im worried about. if they keep 6 receivers that probably means one of the backs gets cut and i hope we can keep them all.

I agree with the last post, I see 6 WR's in a passing offense. I think watson will end up on the practice squad... but with injuries and such he'll be on the main squad soon enough.

I can't see us keeping 6 Wrs and 4 RB, it has otbe one or the other, or you will be short changing elsewhere.

I think Johnson is going to make this team. Spurrier is enamored with speed and Johnson has plenty of it. Earlier in the offseason before we added Coles and Jacobs, SOS JR said that he would be comfortable with Johnson as his #3 guy(behind Gardner and at the time whoever the 1st round pick was going to be). So right away it seems the team placed him above McCants and Russell. Says to me that McCants is the most likely guy not to make it if we only keep 5 receivers and Russell can stay healthy. Of course Russell remaining healthy probably would be a minor miracle at this point.

I can see us keeping 6 wrs but only 3 rbs unless maybe we only keep 2 TE and use McCants at TE on long passing downs..ok youre right what is a TE to SS

4 RBs would be overkill. I like Kenny Watson, but I don't see him with us too much longer.

I get pretty excited when I think about WR's burning down the field and our O-line putting up a brick wall against opposing D-lines. Both are questions marks -- we're hoping they can perform like top units, but we won't know if it's possible until they're out on the field.

How much does our season revolve around Patrick Ramsey??? Seems like he's under quite a bit of pressure. I really have no idea how he or the team will perform at best this is a championship quality team and at worst it's an 8-8 team. We'll find out soon enough.

If Ramsey handles the pressure like he does the pass rsuh. We will be all right.

I hope he can stay healthy so that we can see what he has to offer. You can never have too many good players. Next best thing to that is a player thats trying to prove he's good.

Yeah, I don't know about 6 WR's and 4 RB's. Somebody will probably be on the practice squad.

I think McCants goes. Gardner's already our big, slow guy *lol*.

And Watson "Hey, Roy Williams - here's the game ball"

McCants & Watson got their chance. We'll at least try Johnson out.

Watson will have to really show something in training camp to make it.

IF anyghing, I think Watson will be released instead of being put on practice squad. I think the skins will give him a chance to make it on another team. He did O.K. when Davis was out last season.

BTW, Steve keeping four running backs is like Marty Shot. keeping six wide receivers----Aint gonna happen.

My most memorable ones were when Manley knocked white out of the game and the one when the Redskins beat the cowboys with nothing but scab players. I believe the skins and vikings were the only two teams that didn't have players cross the line. I remember that monday night well. The skins put a whooping on the cowboys that night and made it look easy.
Even though I like the Arrington hit on Aikman, the game was depressing. After a spring and summer of high expectations and big spending, the skins were lucky to 8-8 and miss the playoffs. Norv Turner had just been fired and the team was in disaray. What a dissappointment. Still a nice hit and a foreshadowing of things to come from that monster we like to call LaVar.
