2 on injured reserve

Sorry if this has been posted but I saw the other day that Bruce Branch and Justin Skaggs were put on the NFLE exempt/ injured reserved list. I guesss this means they should get another shot next offseason

I really don't know the rules dealing with NFLE. Is Skaggs done in for the year? Not that it really matters to the Redskins though. We are stacked at WR and I don't see him getting a lot of reps.

I guess it works like the IR in the NFL, and he is gone for the year with his knee injury.

I didn't think he had much of a chance either just kept hope alive

so they do have at least one more shot at making it to the big show to bad it too a season of injury recovery to get the chance

It might be a blessing for him in the long run. If they keep him on IR we can see who is the real deal this year and if a few dont pan out or leave via trade or free agency. Well he might have a shot.
