Only team sports, mind you: football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, etc. (not racing or boxing or other). Do you enjoy a little friendly bet with a freind or coworker? I find it entertaining, for example, when there's a game that I don't particularly care about to bet with a cousin of mine. It makes the game fun, because I have somebody to cheer for. I rarely do it and only with close friends who I trust. How about the rest of you?

hell yeah i like to make bets. my friends and I even go as far as betting a buck or two on if it will be a run or pass or if they will get a first down. My buddy lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 dollars on one drive

Team betting is great. I was in Vegas during the first round of the NCAA and went wild. After that trip I decided to no longer play table games and just gamble on sports.

While sports aren't easy to bet on by any means and there are never any sure bet I think they definitely offer an advantage over table games.

Rarely, but just with my friends

I've found that is is really bad luck so I never bet on the Skins. I have an Iggle fan friend who bets against the team with the theory being that if they win he'll be happy, but if they lose at least he gets paid.

Agree 100%. I never bet on the skins. Never. Not only is it bad luck, but it's fun enough just to cheer for them for who they are (my only beloved team) and if they lose it's even worse than losing money.

last year i bet a total of 90 dollars on the Redskins, I ended up losing a total 10 dollars (lost 50, won 40)

I have bet money against the skins several times with the hopes to mush my bet and the skins opponent. Didn't work most of the time but it does show how desperate I have become for another winning season. NEVER do I bet on the skins.

I'm bad enough after a loss with no money riding on it... Honestly, after the loss to the Giants in week 2 I just a couple CaptnN'Cokes and played Tecmo Super Bowl.

Sports team betting can be very fun. However it can also be extremely addicting/dangerous. I usually dont because I dont ever need another reason to watch the game other than the game itself. Keep in mind that gambling is a disease just like alcoholism although very different diseases. Anyone who has close family members with gambling problems should attempt to avoid it.

I make some wagers every now and then.

Nope. I hardly ever bet. Not going to say that I don't ever. But very seldom.

I have the worst luck. If I pick a certain team to win, they're 90% sure of losing. That is of course when I bet against my initial instinct.

College football is my thing. Each year my buddies and I start out with $200 each and see who can make the most money at the end of the season. I made bank in 2002 and 2003 but last year broke my back! My bookie hated me before and this year he sent me a Christmas card!

I get into the NCAA tourney. Whether it's betting on the games themselves or throwing in a pool and filling out a bracket, I love it. Not like the tourney needs added excitement, but it does make me sit and watch whatever games I can...even if I'm supposed to be in class.

I bet on the skins a lot, but just with a bunch of my Dallas buddies. We bet on Redskin/Cowboys games, who has a better record or makes it further in the playoffs. Let's just say that I've lost a lot of money that past couple years.

Not a very smart bet (lately), unless you put money on the girls.
