I am planning on heading to the NAtionals game wed. night against Milwaukee. I am down in Bethesda, Maryland for work and thought it would be a good time. Anyway...can anyone give me advice on getting to the game (Metro?...is it safe at night?) How about purchasing tickets? I was thinking of getting them at the stadium. Will this be a problem? Would rather not scalp. What's traffic like getting to the game if I drive?
Thanks for any and all help anyone could provide.

OK, first the tickets. I think you can buy them online an pick up the tickets at the will call. There are tciket agents in Bethesda where you can pick them up, if you wanted to. If that's not your bag, I'm sure you can get tickets on gameday.
Metro is fine, even at night. If you're not from around the area, I would recommemd this, as it is the easiest way in and out (pardon the obvio0us marketing pun). If you're familiar with the are, you could drive I hear the parking lot isn;t very crowded (comparatively) because so many folks do take metro.

You can buy and print your own tickets online and I would take Metro definitely from Maryland.

I took metro to a day game during the week and had no problems...it should be even less crowded for a night game.
