Since where on the subject of “off season topics, I’ll throw this out:
Every great QB has established a relationship with one or two great receivers during their careers. You know, that one athlete the QB feels most comfortable with and depends upon – even though it doesn’t always result in super plays or super catches and scores.
Who will be the “Go- To” Guy for our QB Patrick Ramsey :?:
Your thoughts :!:

I think Rod Gardner could be the Go-to guy. He's the Possession prototype player, and double coverage on Coles or 3-4 WR sets will put him in good situations to make those unflashy but crucial plays at 3 and 7.

Seebs could be right. But, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Taylor Jacobs. No reason really for me saying this. Just like to see ONE UF WR to turn out to be a good one. And I hope TJ will be the one.

Im gonna go with Coles..he was brought in here to be just that. Also beyond the next 2 seasons I dont see Gardner staying with us. Even though I wish he would.

Have to agree with Seebs... I think Coles will decitate the double coverage, leaving Rod open more one on one. His huge size will be a great plus (provided he catches the ball). I think Ramsey will like throwing to him, an will naturally look his way.

You say a relationship with one or two receivers. How about both Coles and Gardner? Everyone is certainly young enough and current contracts seem to favor a lengthy time to develop. We shall see.

Have to agree about Gardner. He's gonna be a real stud this year. God, I love our recieving corps.

In a year I'd say jacobs...
every comment i've seen from QB's about jacobs is how thye love getting him the rock cuz he'll go get it.
i think if gardner improves as much this year like he did last, he'll really start looking special.
totally agree with you Joe... turn a weakness into a strength... WR's look great this year
