Hey guys
This is legit. And as far as I know, you all may have already heard of this, or have similar programs in your own state, but anyway...The government has set up a national 'do not call' database of phone numbers. Putting yours on this list prohibits any telemarketer from calling you for five years, starting October 1, 2003.
Got the information off of various credible news sites, i.e. Yahoo, Reuters, AP. Here's the link to the actual site. Supposedly, 1000people/second are signing up so there's a very good chance that the site is on overload. Just keep trying.
