20 teams is a lot, plus you gotta draft for 20 teams at 10 pm on a friday. And some might not show up cause their pick to run the whole 3 minutes.

I know this doesn't pertain to this post but I cant start my own thread and this seems to be the most active. I am having a live draft for my league and there are 12 members. Its a yahoo league so the rosters go like this 1 qb 3wr 2 rb 1 te 1k 1D and 5 or 6 bench positions. Does anyone have any suggestions for a draft strategy meaning the order of the positions that i pick. I know I will draft a qb first unless I draw below the 7 pick in the draft then I may go ahead and try to take a big wr or rb. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would have started my own thread on this if I was allowed

Unless you can get Peyton Manning, don't take a QB first. Start with RB's, then WR's and QB, then TE then more RB and WR, then K and DEF last. After all positions are filled then go for best available at each position for depth and make sure you keep track of bye weeks. Good luck and hope that helps.

Thank you. Yeah that makes alot of sense, I guess I just had QB on the brain but youre right the middle of the pack qb's are outscored by other top positions all the time. Once again thanks for the advice.

Crap, I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed August 11th, and will be on a painkiller (more than likely vicodin) for a few days after. The draft is August 12th, lol. My draft could turn out to be just a bit weird.

Santheb, pal, i feel your pain. I got mine removed last week. I don't care what anybody else tells you, it hurts like a *****. They gave me Oxycodone and 600mg of ibprophin. The next day I wasn't able to do much of anything... so I would really suggest pre-ranking your players. Hope all works out for you!
