View Full Version : Pop ups!!!!!!!!

I have pop up blockers and even have AOL who blocks most things but I keep getting pop ups that are from Aurora. I use ad-aware and it still pops up, mostly when I am on hR. Anyone know what else I can use to get rid of those?

I got Aurora one time and I read through some things that said how to remove it and I was just like "screw that" it sounds too involved so I did a system restore to a date before I started noticing Aurora and it seemed to work.

i have a free popup blocker from yahoo and i havent had a single popup since i got it around 6 months ago

It's not coming from hR. We've had them removed.

Are you really a Yankee fan and a Skins fan? I'm trying to deal with that signature picture of Geter standing next to the great one.

I usually refer to this forum (http://forums.techguy.org/f17-s.html) if I have Internet problems or any other tech questions for that matter. There are some bona fide geeks over there...browse through and look for an answer or register and ask. Someone will chime in. Good Luck.

I have this same problem as well. Its coming from some kind of advertising firm (ABI) or something like that. i went to add/remove programs and found ABI in there and it takes you to a website to remove it. Havent had a problem since.

no problem. I just recently got rid of mine so i remembered it. Dont know how it got on my comp tho. :(
