Somehow springs and salvea' both went down in there ratings from the end of last year....i don't know how but they did....so did portis and arrington as well as a few others. I have to say i am a tad upset with Carlos Rodgers Ratings...his speed is only 90...and as we all know speed is arguably the most important rating...

Springs lower than Smoot...Tupa an 87..and BOTH Sheldon Brown and Lito Sheppard ranked higher than Springs?

Springs and Griffin got shafted, but other than that, it looks pretty good. How Springs is weaker than Smoot is beyond me.

Rogers is a point faster than Rolle, but not as strong. I bet they give Pac Man a 93.

My problem with Madden is that the rankings are based so much on reputation and are often outdated by a year or two.

For example: look at the cowboys' rankings. Roy is a 96 although he certainly didn't play like one last season. Aaron Glenn is a 90 and he's going to be their backup.

Strahan is a 96 although he seems to be on the downside. A 90 would have been a little more appropriate.

Corey Simon a 94 with Darwin Walker only an 88. Shouldn't that be the other way around? I hate to say it, but that Eagles defense is going to be a serious pain in the butt to play against. Lots of people online playing as them I'm sure.

The Vikes look really really good, for all the trolls online who play with the eagles I think I'll have to match them with the Vikes.

i just looked at McCune ratings and he was only 72 Strength....which is only 4 points higher than ST the same as mike sellars and only a few points higher than several other players. Im still a tad upset of Springs dropping 2 ratings points even after having one his better if not best season ever.

Holdman, no I wasn't suprised, Prioleau, yes. Nothing beats the 86 given to Rock last year before the first roster update. He was unbelievable working as an H-back in last year's Madden. That was a gift to skins fans everywhere and almost made up for the past decade of frustration.

4.42 in the 40-yard dash…39-inch vertical jump…31 1/8-inch arm length…8 ¼-inch hands.

Those are portis' numbers during his college days at the U whether or not hes faster now...i don't know.

I think those numbers are just default slots based on where he was drafted. How else could they know how to peg somebody who has never played the position before?

I think that might be true, becuase every 1st round recieve last year had 90+ speed

I think he should be more..I know hes underated but theres players reeeally overated in madden theres a ton of players that break 80 who dont even start...

yea, but i think next year he will get more attention. i mean, it WAS his first year, and hes a 3rd rounder, so a 79 in his second year isnt too bad. he should be a 82-83 in my eyes though, at least. but he will get more pub this year, since we will go to him more, plus, his name is cooley. u know chris berman is gonna have like tons of nicknames for him

Get the updated roster and the Skins ratings are much more improved. Up to 86 overall (86 off and def) if you do the depth chart tweaks right.
