I don't know, I'm still on the waiting list.
here is how big of a redskins fan I am.. I've been on the waiting list for four years now, and I told my wife that when my number finally comes up, that I am moving to Silver Springs. I got a job offer down there some time ago, and I can take it whenever I want. I can't wait. I'm moving from toledo, OH to Maryland for the skins baby. DIE HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know what the average waiting time on the list has been for the Poor Man's seats? I would love to know that I don't have much longer to wait. When I say Poor Man's Seats, I do not mean obstructed view seats, I mean like the regular upper decker's.
I have been Waiting Four years now. Can anyone fill me in. My old man told me that when his dad used to have seats he could pass them on to his family, but they stopped that a while back, and I heard you could wait as long as 15 years in some cases. Please tell me I will be a season ticket holder soonner than 11 years from now.

I put my name on the list 6 years ago right before going to college and got my tix this summer :) (still waiting on the delivery of them).

That's about what I was about relay. I personally went on the list following the 1991 season and go my seats in Spurriers first year. HOWEVER, I have some good friends who go their seats the same year that were only on for 6 years. As much as the Redskins would like you to believe there's a hundred thousand people on the waiting list, the reality is it's taking folks 5-7 years to get tickets these days. I figure there's probably about 5-10k turnover annually.

Well, I've been on the list for 2 years now. Even though I live in LA, I'm FOR SURE going to get my tix when they go on sale. You guys will probably reep the benefit of my distance, as I'll most likely sell the majority of the games, and then pick a couple to go to. Unfortunately, that'll probably be AFTER our four other Super Bowl seasons. :)

First - there is no such thing a "Poor Man Tickets" - If I'm not mistaken, the cheapest you'll receive is $59/seat x 2 x 10 ..... well as you can see if you do the math, you're already over a thousand dollars AND I'm not sure about the $59/seat thing.
Wait time varys anymore and depends on what you're looking for. I started out in the upper deck and waited 19 years to get my seats. BUT there are some in the past couple of year who have waited only 4-6 years which still amazes me. AND if you want tickets RIGHT now - there always Club seating which runs about $2200/season for one seat (endzone).

Patrick, don't forget the $50 a ticket fee they charge you for the first time you buy tickets. So its really $64 per game
For those are not familar with the process, once your name comes up you are offered tickets in one of the top 3 rows of the stadium. Corners and endzones go for $590 for the season. This comes down to $59 per game, but 2 of those games are preseason, which personally I do not think are worth $59 per game. I forget the exact price of the sideline tickets. I was offered them, but by the time I called back, all they had left was the endzones and corners, so I took the corners.
I think the reason the waitlist has shortened so much from the old days is the new stadium has more seats (we have more seating than a lot of major college programs) and although in general Redskins fans are faithful through the tough times, any team will at least some people willing to buy season tickets when they have gone through an extended period of 'disappointment.' Having the highest ticket prices (behind N.E.) probably doesn't help either.

I don't recall them being this late the past few seasons. It's pretty much close to the same time of the year as usual. I have a co-worker in my workgroup that schedules a three week vacation the same time every year, and he does it in part to coincide with the season tickets being sent as his delivery area gets hit hard with them. Well, he is in the final week of his vacation this week.

No tickets yet for me.
Talked to the Redskins ticket office and they said that season tickets WITH parking passes will start being mailed out TODAY, August 1st.
Their was a problem with the printers who printed the parking passes, so that was why tickets with passes are now going out.
We should ALL have our tickets by the end of the week.

I have been extremely anxoius to recieve my tickets since this is my 1st year as a season ticket holder. General admission is about $1,000+ for two seats for the season (give or take depending on your section). That is before parking and other expenses.

Aw man, I still remember my first game!!! It was a drubbing at the hands of the Seahawks in Norv's first game...
I hope we have better success in your first game than we did in mine... Looking forward to it!
Are you flying in for the weekend? I might drive up the day before if people are hanging out... I know there was talk of a golf outing that my brother-in-law really didn't help with... With all his connestions, I had visions of no green fees, buty that was probably my naive non-golfing self thinking.

lol I purchased the tickets, just waiting not so patiently for them to arrive. The girls aren't very happy, and I'm fully expecting to hear an earful from quite a few of them when we get back, but as Mike pointed out this WAS planned first (and only by two days!!). Just don't be surprised if I'm on the phone arguing with somebody before the game....

I am curious about your package, wheras mine is a bit more, with preseason included and I suppose I have a different view, or should I say better view than yours according to your pricing, plus you are mentioning parking with General Admission???? I take it you received your offer a different way than the General Admission letter that went out? Let me know, because I may be holding that mystery parking space, folks may be wondering who it is. :lol1:

I got a letter in Late May or Early June telling me that I could buy season tickets. So I called the number and it rang into the Redskins ticket office. They told me I had a choice of seats in the corners of the endzone. Then they said I could prepay the cash lot and the total came to $1140.
