***Important NEW Tailgate Info***

Okay Boys and Girls, here we go!

In the spirit of Dan Snyder in not raising ticket prices, I have decided not to raise admission prices for the hR Tailgate III! (patting myself on the back) The price again this year will be $25 per person and $40 for couples. The term "couples" isn't restricted to husband and wife as I'm sure that question will be asked as it has been each of the past two Tailgates.

Just to be clear, this price DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR TICKET TO THE GAME!! All attendees are responsible for securing their own game tickets. This price DOES INCLUDE your admission to a great time fellowshipping, breaking bread, quenching thirsts, and getting wasted (if you are into that type of thing as I am) with your fellow family members here at hR. Food and beverage will be plentiful and you are welcome to partake in as much as you possibly can without bursting. If you want to overdue it and indeed burst, help yourself. It will give us liquor and beer drinkers something to laugh at. Green lot C21 as always.

The menu this year will consist of the usual: burgers, hot dogs, brats. I suspect that the wife will whip up some of her delicious jerk chicken. I'm working on something special, so I don't want to commit publically to it just yet, but if it works out I'm sure you all will enjoy it. There will be plenty of beer, soft drinks and water for everyone as well.

As is custom, we will began cooking at 9AM!! I know that's early for some, but it's really not that bad. That time in that section of the lots is a Marching Band tradition of sorts, as we have to be inside and dressed to perform 2hrs before game time. Some have shown up alot later in the past and missed out a bit, but I am working on a contigency plan for all of you stragglers that absolutely cannot make it at 9AM. Also, remember that we party AFTER the game as well, so plan to make a day of it and enjoy the entire experience. We are putting together some door prizes as well this year, so you don't want to miss out.

THE DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT WILL BE WED. AUG. 31st I prefer and encourage PayPal payments as it is much easier for me to collect the funds from you all with less hassle. Simply click the PayPal button on our homepage and it will take you to our PayPal page. I ask that in the "description area", please type your screename and hR Tailgate so that I know exactly who has paid. If you cannot use PayPal, PM me and we will work out other arrangements. The deadline still remains 8/31 however. Sorry, but I have to be firm with this date. Again, if you can use PayPal, PLEASE DO!

If the interest is still there, we are still going to attempt to get together for a round of golf 9/10 in the morning for those of us that play. Bowling was mentioned earlier as well, and we are still looking to do that as well.

You will like section 135...it is right on the back corner of the endzone.

Plus...being 8 rows up should allow you to see downfield fairly well.

Thx Kenny duckworth (Duckin_tacklers)Depending on where you catch the Metro, the Morgan Blvd station is the closest to FedEx. It is about a mile walk up the road. I'm not certain that they provide shuttle service from that station due to it's proximity. As far as the other stations that used to offer shuttle service (Addison Rd. and Landover) at this point I haven't heard any details on the shuttle service this season.

I will not have the names of all the members atttending until after the 31st.

renting a car in DC is a BAD idea...it's almost impossible to navigate for newbies and the metro system is so efficient there's no need to get one.

10 days and counting, my burgundy and gold-blooded friends. 10 days until all of the writers who predicted that the "Eagles will Romp in the NFC East" are left in pure SHOCK and AWE at the arrival of this franchise.
