Hootie and the Blowfish is an 80s band? And if the Scorpions don't come to Charleston, I might have to go on a hunger strike.

How is it possible for Queen to tour? Freddie Mercury was Queen.

LOL, I'm not a disco fan but I grew up in that era and remember the songs very well.

The title says "....and older." :p That still doesn't explain why Hootie is on there though.

I agree Jacky. When I first saw they were gonna do a tour, i said that exact same thing. How is it possible without Freedie.

Billy Idol...... I was a GenX fan, but cradle of love and Wedding Singer kinda took him out of "rebel punk" status and put him in to "commercial rebel punk" status.........and that's lame......

Yeah but the Girl in the Cradle of love video is still one of the hottest girls in all of music videos.

Yeah but the Girl in the Cradle of love video is still one of the hottest girls in all of music videos.

I can't remember her, but I do recall Tawny Kitaen on the hood of a car looking pretty damn hot in a Whitesnake video.

I hope whoever is with her now doesn't let her get within 5 feet of a high heel shoe though. Girls got a temper.

But even after all these years, that girl still isn't legal.

This topic of has beens coming back is a very interesting one, and I would really like to discuss it in depth. Unfortunately right now, I don't have time. I have to get ready to see Ted Nugent and April Wine tonight in St. Paul, and I'm still worn out from last night's Rick Springfield show.

The wife and I are going to see Al Green at the House of Blues in Atlantic City this August.

Might as well add him to the list~!

I just saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Merriweather Post on Wednesday. It was unbelievable. He played all his hits and Mike Campbell (guitarist) sounded great.

Ted the Head and April Wine - Nature of the Beast! Late 70's and early 80's. I listen to Ted once in a while and he still sounds cool. I popped in that Nature of the Beast CD awhile back and thought, "Man, I used to listen to that cheeseball stuff?"

Paul Rodgers from Bad Company? His voice doesn't seem right for Queen. It would be cool to see though.

That is a concert I would love to see. Man, those guys made some awesome songs back in the day. My friends and I listen to his music alot still, and most of us weren't even old enough to know who he was when he got popular.

Dude, you're only 3 hours away from the Meadowlands, if you're still in Balto... you can make it up there for Queen!!! Only 2 US tour dates!! NYC and us: Hollywood.

Rich, Paul's voice is actually perfect for this. Queen songs are really tough vocally, and yet he nails them just like Freddie did. Obviously, he's not Freddie, but he's a very good substitution.

What about Wayne Newton,B.B.King,and James Brown?
Heck...Clint Eastwood even performs and he's over 70.
