So just so you all know, i did end up renewing my season tickets this year. As a few of you might remember, i was er, "bitter" about the performance of our team after last year that i was thinking about letting them go. But the further along the year got, my wounds have healed and i wish the season would begin TODAY!! I got to go to camp yesterday and got Sean Taylor and Jon Jansen's autographs. Sean Taylor was very pleasant. The only problem is that b/c of the wife being due in October i'll only be able to attend about five games, and unfortunately can't make the home opener (and thus, hRTG II). So i'm sad, but i'll be watching it on my new high def TV. I've already got friends coming out of the woodwork waiting to pounce on my remaining tix, by the way. But of course!

Anyway, to those of you that go to the games as well, i'm thinking of experimenting at least once taking *shudder*, metro to the Morgan Blvd. station and walking the mile to the stadium. Anybody tried this yet? Maybe a bad idea, but i thought i'd give it a shot.

I'm one of them soccer fans, and I went to the DC United vs. Chelsea game last week at FEDEX and walked from Morgan. Honestly, its a quick 1/2 mile or so. Really convenient. Sidewalks the whole way. If you dont like Metro, then I can understand being reluctant, but the stop is much closer than I thought it was.

Shoot...you have to walk that far to your car even if you have a parking pass.

speaking of bitterness and stuff, lol at this...

What's the biggest difference between a typical Redskins fan and a typical D.C. United fan?

Let's see, I would say the Redskins fans right now are more humbled than D.C. United fans. D.C. United's got a couple nice fresh rings from the past decade; Redskins fans are crying in their damn beer. D.C. United fans walk a little more proudly; Redskins fans, I think they've got their fists clenched. I don't know who they're going to punch, Daniel Snyder or the freaking Cowboys.

Good luck with the incoming...

Time heals all wounds... but I think the way Gibbs is running things, he'll heal some up ahead of schedule. Our diligence WILL pay off!

Hail!!
