Quote: "D*** rookie!" -- defensive tackle Joe Salave'a, after rookie quarterback Jason Campbell scrambled out of the pocket, cut inside Salave'a and skipped past him for a solid gain.
one of my favorite parts, although the part on molarino is good too

-- Rookie running back Jonathan Combs continues to impress. He had the longest run of the practice, busting loose outside and down the right sideline for a touchdown.

-- Another memorable play from Tuesday's practice? Matt Bowen let a sure interception slip through his fingers, only to see it scooped out of the air by opportunistic wide receiver Jamin Elliott for a reception.

if you read some bio's on this Jonathan Combs guy, he sounds very impressive.

Jamin Elliot is my dark horse receiver for the practice squad.

Jonathan Combs (5'-9, 234) was personally recommended to the coaching staff by Darrell Green...

In preparation for rookie minicamp he stayed with Texas A&M Kingsville's most famous product, seven-time Redskins Pro Bowl cornerback Darrell Green.

i hope so, i kinda think we did...him and Wilson could both be groomed and brought along slowly by Bugel, they are both huge.

Real encouraging article. This is going to be a very competitive preseason. Seeing players give there all to make it on the roster. It seems we may have a couple of surprises to make the team.

Wisconsin? You'll be too hammered to remember, lol. You could TiVo it. Then again, it might be re-playing over the weekend on the NFL Network.

Molinaro's name seems to pop up from time to time. I hope he can be a guy like Ed Simmons in a few years and carry on a (by that time) long tradition of Redskins o-line excellence. I do wince a little at him putting ST down so hard in practice, though. Save that stuff for Roy "Two Big Macs and a Coke" Williams.
