Did anybody else see B-Mitch on the pregame show? It was good to see him back in the B&G fold.
Also, I noticed that he pulls no punches. He said straight up that he thinks that Ramsey is done. He also ripped Gardner before the game too. I almost couldn't believe how straightforward he was. I thought it was pretty refreshing to listen to a guy so close to the situation give his unaltered, personal opinion.
I hope we get to see and hear that much more from him. :awesomewo

I have a feeling a majority of the players past and current have either lost or are losing faith in the current starting QB.

I imagine it is very frusterating for these older guys who had such incredible success to see the current situation in the NFL as a whole, but also the situation their former team is going through. Even Bostic and DG were a bit edgy talking about the current situation.
I imagine Steve Young and Joe Montana would probably react similarly if they were broadcasting on the current 49ers situation.
But, I agree, it's nice to hear someone speak their mind with little regard for the status-quo.
I mean, Redskins.com is a redskins site and all and I expect it to be one sided, but some positive critcism would be useful every now and then.(the website is amazingly better now though)

Exactly. BMitch has never met an opinion he didn't voice to all in earshot distenace. He holds ZERO credibility in terms of a QB coach for me.

He did make an interesting point about Portis' patience and the counter play during the scrimmage radio broadcast. He said that if Portis just lined up a half-yard further back that he'd hit the hold at the right time to spring it.

But in the end you can't do that. If you start at different spots depending on what play you're going to run defenses are going to pick up on this habit very fast. He needs to be more patient.

B Mitch was good, but i really dont like Jeff Bostic as the analyst. I dunno, i respect him as a player, but i just hate his comments and the way he says things. And that other dude, with the big nose, ugh, he gets on my nerves like crazy

Yeah Bostic definately had something about him that I can't put my finger on, but I didn't like his commentary. It's too bad Jon Jansen couldn't help Bostic out from the sidelines like he did Darryl Green.
Gotta love Mitchell though, he loves to bang his gums.

I don't have problems with Bostic. I believe for the most part he is always on point with his commentary.

I think B. Mitch is a great guy and was a great player but I don't think Ramsey is done because he wasn't that great in the first pre season game.

we need that kind of voice when the team deserve criticism. just like he said some things about Portis last year on CSN that got Clinton riled up. no pudding, cake or candy coating from Mitch.

Well Brian seen a lot of football and don't forget he played QB himself. I wouldn't be so quick to discount his opinion, regardless how biting it may come across...

i like the stories Bostic tells about his years with Gibbs, Bugel, Theisman, etc. He also says stuff about what it's like to be a player in the league, about he hated training camp and preseason games, about the defensive line holding but rarely get flagged for it, etc.

I dont either but I do think he'll be done if he continues to play like he did last year and the 1st preseason game.

Is D. Green a Redskin employee? I would think that Redskins.com TV is owned by Snyder and that would make him an employee. I had been hoping he would coach for us as Champ owes his carreer to Darrel.
He might do better as a coach than an announcer.

B Mitch made that comment about Ramsey in the pre game show. Before the first pre season game.

He comes back next week and shows that same nervousness and unsure command, I will to. I am sick of hearing Ramsey's potential, yet year in and year out, we makes excuses for him, a new system, new Wrs, etc.....the fact is, he did not look comfortable, he was nervous, and whether you have new or old receivers, you have to be able to get them the ball. First game or foruth game, doesn't matter to me, Ramsey simply did not look comfortable confident behind center.

I think he needs to be a coach...I thought I heard him call Musgrave Hargraves or Hargrove? Did anyone else hear this...or was I hearing things?

I wish he'd got to Philly or NY and do their Pre-game show. He had alot of audacity to question Clinton's heart last year, and then acted like a succa when CP called him on it....BUM

I didn't hear B Mitchell, so I can't comment on him. He was hired for his mouth, so its refreshing to hear that he is coming out with his opinions, vs. the cautious and boring talk of some commentators.
I was extremely impressed by CHARLES MANN on the post-game radio commentary [broadcast on NFL.com]. Very well spoken and truthful. He knows a lot and doesn't pull his punches, too much. He was a class act when he played for the team and is still a class act now. I highly recommend listening to him - he is impressive.

Welcome aboard Dan.
I don't think D. Green has time to be a coach; between his youth foundation and the handful of companies he is involved with.

Thanks Seeway,
Maybe so, it would seem that he is also too busy to be an announcer as well.

Really? Wasn't he one of the leaders as a Redskin? I wouldn't hink he would be a leader w/o some degree of cred...unless the rest of the team are a bunch of idiots. I think he is a sharp guy who happens to not posess an abundance of tact or PC. I like his...and Riggins style, no BS. Who I hate to hear is Larry Michael...that self promoting worm.

Are you kidding? Of course Brian Mitchell is the king of smack. And it was that smack talking that MADE him a leader on the team.
I invite you to go back and look at old Skins games. After EVERY single punt or kick return, Mitchell would get up from being tackled, and IMMEDIATELY get in someone's face about it. Many times, fights would break out. It was brilliant.

The problem with B-Mitch ...... in his mind, there has been noone who has ever played the game better than him. ........ As a player I loved his passion and heart BUT a part of the media ....... JUST SHUT UP!!!!
