I don't remember seeing him at all last night. Sellar, Baber and fellow draft pick Nemo looked good but I wonder what happened to our 4th round pick?

He missed a TD catch that was OOB towards the end of the game from Campbell. It will be interesting to see how early (or late) he gets in next week.

I have heard much about him from camp or practice. Have you seen or heard anything?

Just a little 30 second interview that Larry Michael did with him at one of the OTAs. I know he's converting from FB to HB, so there's a lot to do there.

NEWCOMER REPORT: Manuel White has a chance to make an impact as a backup H-back and special teams player. The rookie from UCLA has shown the team what they hoped they would see from him once he put the pads on. He has good speed and athletic ability. He's getting a handle on blocking and can be a good receiver. He's not going to displace Chris Cooley in the starting lineup. But on the plays where Cooley lines up at tight end, White could come in at H-back and give the team another receiver or a capable blocker in short-yardage situations. Although he's not in the running back rotation, the team does see that White has ability carrying the ball, and could be an effective short-yardage back.

I didn't expect White to contribute too much this year outside of special teams.

Broughton clearly was a bigger part of the offense on Saturday, but they are playing two entirely different positions. White won't see as much PT during the season anyways, playing behind Cooley, but Broughton, if he performs like he did on Saturday, could be a key asset on short yardage plays. He trucked some poor Carolina stooge on a swing pass/screen play that had Clinton Portis leading the cheering section on the sidelines.
