Mark Moseley. I'm pretty sure he's the all time leading scorer in Redskin's history.

This one should be unanimous. Moseley won an MVP -- still the only kicker to ever do so. He's won more games for the Redskins than anyone has counted. If it ain't Moseley, it's nobody.

Jose Cortez
That's not funny!!!!!
Ali Hajh-Sheik would've been funny, but Jose Cortez is just plain mean.....
BTW - Mark Mosley.
Chip has to get props for hitting some long ones.....

Takes a lot to win the MVP.

Gotta go with Mosely. It's not every K that wins league MVP.

Mosely.
What I find interesting is how Chip went from awesome to being known as Choke in the blink of an eye.

I believe the year he alone outscored an entire team. Colts I think.

Chip was never the same after his holder(Rutledge) left.
Mosely, of course, was the best for the Redskins. I was very angry to see his # worn by Jeff George.

I bet the Skins' think Jeff put a curse on the number 3. No one on the team wears it now.

I'm with you there. Chip was good but he was no Mosely.

Mosely has his number on the forbidden list at Redskins park, I don't even remember Lohmiller's number. Mark gets my vote.

George wasn't even suppose to be allowed to wear #3, but the Danny said it was OK for him to do so because George had a hissy fit. It should be retired, but for some reason the skins don't retire numbers. That makes very little sense to me.

Im of the opinion that the retiring of numbers should be reserved for Football players, not Kickers. I mean, there are only 9 single digit numbers, and Sonny Jurgenson has his rightfully retired (Unofficially of course)....he was a football player

To me, this was a no-brainer. Mosely won a lot of big games for us. There was no one you would want to be out there at the end of the game more than Mosely!

Some of those game winning kicks were because of earlier misses he had, but nonetheless, I vote for Moseley to.
I think I voted for Lohmiller the first time around, but I now have experience in my corner and make better judgements.

Actually kickers are players who put their FOOT on the BALL. But maybe I'm too much of a soccer guy. j/k

I don't think that Mosely was the most talented kicker we ever had, probably Charlie Gogolak was, but Charlie was never the same after getting injured and didn't have a long career. Too bad. Lohmiller actually may have been more talented as well.
But Mosely gets my vote as the best ever. I guess it helps that he actually looked like a football player. He didn't look like one of those tiny European soccer players who want to run on the field because they want "to keek ze touchdown!"
