PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Pro Bowl wide receiver Hines Ward is ending his 15-day contract holdout and will report to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team plans to announce in a Monday night news conference.

The announcement was scheduled for 75 minutes before the Eagles-Steelers exhibition game.

It will be very interesting to see how McNugget does throwing to Greg Lewis, Bobby McMullen, and Reggie Brown. My guess is that's what he'll be doing for the greater part of this season.

I live in the Philly area, and am leaving to go watch the game w/some Egirls friends. I just hope more bad, bad things continue to happen to the Eagles. I won't specify, but let the bad things keep coming! I've been LOVIN' this entire preseason so far as far as they go, and it's been SO fun to razz my friends and see them freakin' out... hee. hee, hee...;)

one thing u cant do is doubt the eagles. they encounter so much adversity, but they always have a good team on the field and win. we'll see

the steelers ST just looked ok though lol.. 14-0. i love watching the eagles get abused.

Their special teams keeps getting better though, first kickoff returned to the 6, 2nd to the 18, 3rd to the 22.

McNabb's first pass picked for a TD? Think they'll trade for Ramsey??? haha, just jokin, I'm tivoing this game right now cannot wait to see this firestorm!

Eagle's right side of the line does not look good and it's absolutely amazing how good the Steeler's defense is having average to sub-par CBs.

god that will make me mad if they do, i am just starting to have respect for the eagles FO.

i'm interested to see what heath miller will do this season.

wow....just...wow, eagles are just HORRIBLE in this game. st's and defense are just not up to par AT ALL. and the offense isnt much better with no recievers. Watching 2nd teams now, and noticing a HUGE lack of depth. The O-line has just dissapeared....

steelers on the other hand are playing great, insane ST's and insane defense, offense hasnt done anything yet and its 21-7

I watched McNabb's TD drive and he looks pretty darn good. The O-line is not great but it is the Pitt D and their penalties are horrible but McNabb and Westbrook look sharp, at least in this drive. I think the Eagles can still have an efficient offense without TO but not anything terrifying like last year. But when a dude is open, McNabb hits him.

I think its funny how thiesman and Co. think mcnabb is doing great with these young recievers, yet they only seemed to score once :rolleyes:

Yeah, the Eagles are still a threat without TO. They executed well once they got it together...

I'm watching the game on tivo right now so I'm a bit behind you guys now but who is the Eagles backup center, this guy is getting blown up hard every play! The whole back up line looks rough.

He looks very, very good on the intermediate to long passes, but he's having trouble with the touch on the short stuff.

His TD drive was against Pitts 2nd defense. They did nothing against their 1st defense.

Half of the drive was against the 1st team. Cowher took the starters out when the period ended. The Eagles were already on Pitt's side of the field by then. Regardless not a good showing ... skins or dallas may challenge for the NFC East.
