7 Troy Williamson Vikings WR 5 Years $32,000,000 $13,300,000

Let's hope he honors it and we don't have another "situation".

Because he's from Miami!
Wait, sorry. It's because it's a 6 year contract like chrisbcu said :)

Tho Rolle is getting an average of 1mill more per year than the slot ahead of him, so technically he is getting paid more than Williamson. guess cause he is from miami!

His deal is probably so backloaded that he won't see about 10-15 mill of that contract. Plus, Minnesota likes to frontload their deals (that is how they talked Smoot into signing over us with a couple 100K more), Williamson might get more upfront. Plus who their agent is has got a lot to do with it. Like if their agent were Rosenhaus, they would sit out one year into their deals regardless of how much they make.

I was totally right then. It's all because of the Miami factor.
I had a little script written up but since it was incredibly stupid and dull I decided not to post it, probably saved brain cells for everyone else.

Also, different positions pay better than others...CBs are more rare than recievers

That is a huge dropoff from the slot ahead of him. I am pleased with Rogers' contract like I was with ST's last year.

Unlikely he will see year 6 of that deal. It must escalate considerably to reach $43 million by that time.
