I think thats too high but you gotta look at whats on the board. If you want a solid D and Bmore and Pittsburg are already gone (and no other solid skill players) then OK but its still a bit early. I wouldnt pick up any D until after I had 2 RBs a Solid WR and a QB. I think youll be able to make it to round 5 before you are forced to pick a top end D.

I think D is extremely overrated....I changed my d on a weekly basis last season and still ended up with huge contributions each week. Matchups are the key, and there is always a team facing the 49'ers, Browns, or some other anemic offense. I would strongly advise against picking a D in the first 8 rounds, and I personally wouldn't do it until I had starters and quality backups at every other position.

Excellent advise.
You also have to weigh the scoring system. One year the Defeneses were the highest scoring position due to a glitch in our scoring system. If they are valuable then pick a stud team higher than usual, otherwise add/drop each week based on matchups.

The only D I would take is Baltimore. In Akhh's league he took it in the 7th I think.

The first D in both of my drafts so far went in the fifth and that was only baltimore and pittsburgh. By the third round you should be picking your first WR or starting QB if you didn't pick up Manning or Culpepper in the first or second.

Both draft that i have done there has been many no shows. So the computer picks the players. And the redskins are ranked 2nd or 3rd in most fanasty football.

I haven't seen them anywhere near that. I have them ranked around 17-20 in defenses. That's not in reality, that's fantasy, a whole different animal. 8th is the absolute highest I would put them. No way do you touch them in the 3rd round unless it's an all-defense draft. :D
