Good reply and I'm sure someone here won't appreciate that last sentence about Davis. States he will be missed and that Trung and others are a downgrade from Davis. Kenny will love that.

Yeah, i think that is a fair and accurate description. We have argued back and forth the case that Davis does not fit this offense, blah, blah, blah, and I actually agree with that assessment, Davis does nto fit the Spurrier offense; however, doign from an accomplished Davis to a underachieved RB like Trung is a downgrade UNTIL Trung proves that wrong.

Rick Kamla, the author of the piece, has been the nemesis of Keino and mine for about 2 years now. He writes for Fanball (the site where the HR.com fantasy leagues are), and is a HUGE Bronocs fan.
Well...over the course of 2 years, he hasn't said ONE damn thing that resembled a compliment about the Skins. From calling Spurrier; "Inferior" to calling Snyder; "Napolean". Needless to say, Rick Kamla has received plenty of hate mail from Keino and I over this!
However, I almost lost my lunch when this article came out and he actually gave some props to the Skins. (well...sort of) Coming from Rick Kamla, calling us the biggest offseason winner is a huge feat. It just shows that Danny and the FO have done some very unique things this year, and the usually Skin-unfriendly media has been responsive. This time...in a good way.

To add my two pennies. Rick Kamla is an A$$. We have gone back and forth over e-mail. Last year he called Stephen Davis a bum, this year he will be missed. The guy is still bitter that DOug Williams broke all kinds of records on his favorite team. Basically he is a hater.
He frequently writes an "NFC Notes" Column, and I swear everyweek there is a least a paragraph dedicated to bashing the Skins and/or Spurrier.:banghead:

Welcome to hR GIG. Happy you decided to join us here. Hope you become a regular.
Now, I must disagree with you.;) Sure the Falcons added two WRs in Price and Jenkins. I don't follow them and I couldn't tell you who else they added. But, we added players to every position that we needed help at.
Tough to go against the Skins in this department. JMO of course.

First off welcome aboard Green_is_Good
Price was the only big offseason cathc they had. Compared to what the Skins got its not even close. That does not mean we are the best just had the best offseason. New England did not do too shabby as well.

price was not their only good offseason pickup. they added cory hall at SS, tyrone williams, tod mcbride at corner. they also resigned key players keith brooking and keion carpenter. they have a hard-hitting secondary. a lot of depth at wr. jenkins, i think, is overrated. trevor gaylor was resigned. so was finneran.
thanks for the warm welcome

They don’t know it yet, but the Skins will miss Davis’ toughness and consistency.
Must say I disagree with this one. Although I do agree that SD was a stud and I will miss him abunch... I for one see Trung shining in our offense. I dont think we will miss Stephen at all come season end. IMO
