I actually think he will be placed on the Practice squad. And perhaps fight for 3rd QB next season, once Ramsey/Brunell are gone.

I'd be shocked if Spinner even takes 1 preseason snap.

Yeah, but that is only b/c those snaps are too valuable for Ramsey, Campbell, and Brunell.

Big surprise here, but I don't see alot of future in Bryson Spinner. He looked ok in tc, but not competitive or a threat. The dude looked more like a linebacker with his physique. All 4 of the qbs physical stature was very contrasting. It was kind of funny.

Hard for a 4th QB to take a snap when #1 can't get his **** straight.

Heck, Campbell is having problems getting snaps during the offseason...

That guy is a waste of practice squad space.

I've been thinking that... If Tupa is healthy though the job is his.

The problem with groom is they will never wast a practice squad space for him and Tupa did such a good job last year he deserves every opportunity to be the punter this year.

Punters are a dime a dozen, but I am reminded of the Barker/Williams punting battle in 2000 when Williams was the better talent but erratic and Barker was the wiley accurate vet. Tupa has more leg strength but I do hope he gets healthy and does not make us regret giving up on groom as I think he will make a squad somewhere after he is cut.

I love Tom Tupa, and think he is a very valuable Redskin, special teams MVP last year if you ask me. But He is getting up there in age, and I think Groom, if he is consistent as they are trying to make him out to be, would happily sign a multi-year deal for the league minimum or close to it.

As for Spinner, I think that he will probably be our #3 QB next year simply because somebody's got (Ramsey/Brunell) to go and I think Gibbs will want 3 familiar faces to coach next year. If the other two went down, though, Gibbs and the Redskins might have an Any Given Sunday type-season in 2006

A friend of mine once said "If you go through two, there's already something wrong."
