Good Read. I really didn't need anymore reasons to see them both on the field at the same time, but this empasized it even more. It's going to be awesome watching them out there together. Arguably, two of the most physical players at their positions.

I am just so pumped to see this defense hit stride this year. They are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

You've got to love the nick-names that Marcus gave them. The Grim Reaper, Very fitting. And Tasmanian Devil. This is going to be a fun year Skins fans. :typeR2:

Who ever came up with the idea for nicknaming the whole team is a genius. Can't wait to see the Devil in action this friday.

Interesting, I've always referred to Taylor as Raptor (Utahraptor) and Arrington as T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus rex) . . .

I think Taylor's nickname is the best out of all of them, and the best fitting. The Reaper's going to seriously knock some guys around this year.

Those 2 will reak havok on offenses this year..I can really see a Ed reed- Ray Lewis "Ill cover one half you cover the other half" mentality...

I may be wrong, but don't Lavar and Sean play on the same side of the field?

I just saw an interview on NFL network, I didnt realize it was Lavar talking till it was almost over...but i did catch his last comment..."People say im washed up, Do i feel washed up? No, Will I talk trash?...We'll see"

Washington's defense as a whole will be hell to pay this season. They all need to come together for the Redskins to make a run deep into the playoff's. Don't get me wrong the nick names are cool. But i would like to see a team effort . Total domination of offenses.

Yea but Ray Lewis always talks about how he covers the run and Reed covers the pass....

I'm pretty sure Ed Reed and Ray Lewis hate each other.
Wouldn't really matter anyways, as Lavar has three-four other great run-stoppers up there with him and Sean has one of the best corners in the league on the other side of the field.

Wait why would you say that?

That's what I read on here about them jockeying over leadership of the defense or something.

I think we have at chance at being the #1 defense this year. We have the talent, it'll come down to how fast they can gel and develop chemistry.

Maybe Ed needs to murder someone to get the respect in the locker room.

Sean Taylor and Matt Bowen are two of the hardest hitting safeties in the NFL. There will be many receivers this year that are going to be afraid to go over the middle. Ouch!
