........and he is a huge devoted fan.
The first day of school a classmate was decked out in Redskins gear and he gave him a hard time....jokingly of course.
So she told him that her mom was a die-hard Redskins fan and he said he looked forward to meeting me at Back-to-School night (9/20). :devil2:
Normally I would be all psyched up for this encounter, but I'm not sure how much abuse I will take for wearing my ***clears throat*** Smoot jersey.
Anyhoo, he said he plans on bringing an football autographed by the Cowboys for me to gawk at.
I hope the outcome of the Monday Night game (9/19) is in our favor so I can have some additional ammunition...LOL

I notice by your location that you are in/near our Nations Capital city! Why worry about a single outnumbered cowroid? Wear your colors proudly!

Hah, that is so ironic that Back-to-School night is the day after. No worries we will destroy them on MNF and when Taylor breaks Drew's arm on a safety blitz that can be your first topic of conversation, school comes second :)

Being surrounded by Cowboy fans in Maryland. They need to go back to Texas.

Oh, I know..........I was attempting to be humorous :)
btw: You'd be suprised at the number of DC/MD Cowboy fans that proudly display their gear vs. the Redskin fans.

Should I mail the autographed Joe Gibbs football I won last year from the Redskins Charitable Foundation Drive?

I dunno, there's something about people doing that which just angers me. Pride in where you live, and they have none of it.
Edit: The only fans to whom this rule does not apply are fans of DC sports. They are wiser than all and therefore above such wrongdoing.

PennSkins - I wish I could kick him, but it might affect the outcome of her English grade :banghead:
BigGamer - I never understood that either. It's not like the Cowboys seasons are greater than ours.

I have a theory that the second most popular team in every city (with a few exceptions i.e. NY, Oak, SF) is the Cowboys. For some stupid reason, their fans are everywhere. And I hate all of them, even though I was roommates with two.

Apparently, in some areas around here, the Boys are THE most popular team.

Hey don't worry about it! Look at where I live! Everyone I interact with is a Giants fan. I just wear a Redskins jersey after every game, no matter what, win or loss. And if the Redskins lost to the Giants in the previous game my response to them would be, "Who won more superbowls" :D

I feel your pain. My roomate at East Carolina University was an idiot cowboys fan from Woodbridge Virginia. He had never even been to Dallas. Another guy I know is a Braves/Cowboys fan from Burke VA. Now, he roots for the Nationals rivals AND the Redskins main rival. I am beginning to think it's a mental defect. Those types of people are going to be Patriots fans in this latest generation.

its kind of funny, in 9th grade my english teacher was a big cowboy fan, and we would always have arguemnts and also go at it. He was really nice though, and for some reason, he had season tickets to the skins even though he was a cowboys fan. He gave me the tickets to the Skins Eagles sunday nite game, so hes not a bad cowboy fan. But of course he was all over me when we got crushed, lol

I might have to pull my kid out of the school system. They might teach my kid about sex or intelligent design, but endorsing Dallass is where I draw the line. :D

What do you mean "go back to Texas?"
90% of all Cowpuke fans have never been to Texas. :lol1:
I would keep a close eye on your daughter's teacher, lightskin.
You don't want him "corrupting" her mind with Cowboy garbage.
