—The Redskins should have a stiff competition for the No. 3 cornerback spot between veteran Alex Molden and 2002 third-rounder Rashad Bauman. Bauman won the job from Darrell Green late last season but some Redskins officials have been longtime fans of Molden, who played in the slot for San Diego on passing downs last year.

—Tackle Jon Jansen appears set to have a big year now that concerns about his contract are over. Jansen admitted that the contract looming over him in 2002 (he finally signed an extension in mid-December) was a source of significant worry.

~ ~ ~ TexSkin : i maybe alot of things but one thing i am not is a skins fan. ( except when riggins was with you guys ).

I liked what I saw from Bauman last season. I hope he gets the nod over Molden for the 3rd CB spot. Unless Molden is clearly supperior, of course.

I like Bauman, too, Hailyeah. If Molden plays better in camp and preseason, he deserves the job. If Bauman does, he should get it. Bauman looks like a real player to me. If he was two or three inches taller he'd have been a first round pick instead of a third round pick.
