I'm down here in Louisiana and just weathered out this Hurricane. The SuperDome has a 6foot hole in the roof and there is water everywhere. Its pretty bad down here. I am in the military so we have been doing some rescue missions and seen some bad things. We don't have time to watch tv and there is no cable so can someone keep me informed through this thread on any plans that they have for the Saints. I guarantee they won't be in the Dome come opening day against the Panthers. Maybe they can play in Tiger stadium in Baton Rouge at LSU. Well thats my time. I appreciate any help or news from anyone. Also there are many people with nothing left of there lives....please keep them in your prayers.
Thanks

I live near the Florida/Alabama border so i got the end of it. But we still got hurricane force winds but nothing that Louisana got. Especially being that far down sea level, it was inevitable that it was going to flood.
As for the saints they havent been back to look at the damage of the practice facility. So they dont know about that, but the talk is that they are probably going to play at LSU or possibly Mississippi. LSU is the more likely place tho.
Be safe over there.

Does Tulane play in the Dome or do they have their own field?

It's looking absolutely horrible. The pictures are of total devastation. It seems now as if the water is rising because the levees are breaking, just reported city is 80% under water.
Also, they’re looking to remove the people in the Super Dorm (Dome) because they are now out of food and water.
We'll keep you in our prayers wave6ten, you be careful out there, ya here?

Tulane plays its home football games in the Dome. The old Tulane Stadium (which hosted a Super Bowl and was the place where Tom Dempsey kicked the record setting 63 yd field goal) is gone and dorms have been built on the site.

God bless you wave, and the members of your unit, and all the men wonmen and children in NO and Biloxi. Truly you are in the thoughts and prayers of everyone and everyone should give a little time to try and help someone from that area somehow. Even if it is a s small as giving blood or letting a relative or friend stay with you while thye get their lives figured out.

Father God, we pray right now for those who have lost loved ones, and whose lives have been broken by the wind and the waves! Lord, we pray mercy for those who need mercy, love and peace to those whose hearts need be stilled, and grace to all! Lord, I pray for wav6ten and all who are providing disaster relief. Lord, give them rest, even in the midst of tragedy! Lord, help the city fathers make decisions to help right this situation, and bring a sense of normalcy back to the people, and back to the city! Lord, I pray most for the little ones! Bless them right where they're at, and Lord speed help to those in need right now! Lord, I thank you for my brethern and sisters here on this forum, who are also praying! Help us from far away to also see a way to help those in need. And always keep us mindful of you, who calms both the wind and the waves! In Jesus precious name! Amen!

It been pretty bad down here for the last few days, but it's starting to get a little better. There have been some good stories amongst the madness. Don't have much time for football or much outside news period. I run a 30 man security unit right now so I'm sneeking in a little HR time during my report back. I know I've seen somebody on here with the following:
1-REDSKINS, 2-SEX, 3-BREATHING
Well mine has been for today at least: 1-DUTY, 2-HR, 3-Sleep
Anyways just wanted to say thanks to all and if I don't get to see it, I hope the Skins kill the Bears.
