I can't disagree with anything he says.....this is an example of fair journalism. He points out our flaws, and also mentions some strengths. He is absoluetly correct in his assesment of draft choices...top teams build from within, but he also recognizes our improvement last year due to recently acquired studs. Lenny P should take notes. This is not a slam on the Skins. Also, notice how he hasn't jumped to any conclusions why will suck again this year. And that he acknowledges Snyder's heart and attitude are in the right place. Nice job Clayton.

That's pretty much point on. What I'm banking on is that Gibbs will bring stability once the roster has been remade to his liking. I'd like to think that has been mostly completed this year. Clearly he values draft picks...look at Cooley, Taylor, Rogers, Broughton, Campbell. 3 to 4 of those will be major contributors to the starting units.

can't argue there.. it will take time and winning for all the talk about Snyder's past to go into the closet. media won't look up to the team until Gibbs rights the ship.. but his assessments seem more fair compared to Pasta calling us the "Deadskins" or Dr. Z predicting we'd go 4-12.

I agree! The article is factual, and doesn't involve bashing a particular person. While many hate Dan, I like the fact that he never was cheap, and wanted to win at all cost. I think know he's learning to take a step back and trust personel to make football decisions.

This was a very good article. It pointed out the good & bad of the team. I like how he pointed out the good free agent signings that we have made in the past few years. It seems that others fail to mention the good that we do in free agency, but jump all over the bad.

The article's seems a rehash of old news, the kind of thing a writer begins to create by cutting and pasting old news and conventional bits of wisdom from the web. He then re-writes the stuff, putting in a mild spin, having thought too little of the matter to have developed real convictions. I found the article pretty much worthless.

Clayton says all this...and yet, Analysts are still riding the Jocks of teams like Dallas, Minnesota, Kansas City and Oakland, who made huge changes to their roster.
Its so funny, According to the media:
When a team fails it because of instability. But whenever a team makes changes and is aggresive in the offseason, they are predicted as Superbowl contenders.
This inconsistancy is really starting to bore me. There are only about two or three columnists that I pay more than a lick of attention to nowadays, because the rest all spew the same tired old crud.
Though Clayton's not too bad, usually. And I like this article.
