17-3 Vols leading at the half. Ainge clearly struggled a bit, 5/11. Fulmer made the change to Clausen toward then mid to end of the half. He finished the first half 10/12. Looks like Fulmer is coming out with Clausen int he second half as well.

This game was alot closer than I thought it would be with Tennessee pulling out the 17-10 victory. Fulmer really needs to get ready for the murderous SEC schedule. I think they will be very good, but I don't know about running the table ala Auburn last year.

Ill have to BS later..I got all kinds of Patients flying into my area from the Hurrincane. Just glad they won. Defense impressed IMO and Ainge unfortunately struggled. I hope it dosent get him replaced IMO he has the best chance of taking us to serious BCS contention,although Claussen is showing to be no slouch. That game could have very easily been loss thank god we didnt pull and oklahoma...Kenny

A little to close for me. Ainge is my preference and I think he would have gotten better as the game went on. Ainge had just stated the day before how he was relieved that they had told him he wouldn't get the hook early. Can't take nothing away from clausen though. The UAB qb is also pretty tough and I've always thought highly of watson brown, don't care for mack though. Def. looked decent, i think they held a little back and it almost cost them.
