i agree. there is no dominant team.
i was surprised that you did not include buffalo. i think they have a much better defense than last year and will make it to the conference championship game.

I agree that the Dolphins have a strong team... but I just dont see them winning it. They always seem to lose gas as the saeason draws to a close.

I agree...I think they are too weak with their "intangables".

You can go with your heart in an online poll...just don't bet with your heart on the Skins winning the SB! :D

Its amazing how no one thinks the current SB champs have a shot to repeat. They lost nobody and pretty much are going inot the season with the same team.

i hate the bucs even more than the cowboys. i think that it will be at least another 30 years until any team will produce back-to-back sb victories

Are you SURE you're a redskins fan??? Just like kids hate liver and onions, a skins fan should hate the cowboys more than any team.
(what's there really to hate about a team that was the doormat of the league for years?)
I don't think you're right. We're at a parody point right now while people are revamping their teams...a team will get draft picks and free agent picks that will stay around 3+ years and have a dominant team. Just not within these next few years...but it will happen.

I always have followed Madden's philosphy. Until someone knocks them out of the playoffs (or they don't make it) youmhave to give the SB champions their due.

last year, neither the rams nor the pats made it to the playoffs. neither of them were any worse than they were the previous year.

I disagree...but I understand your point.
I just live in a world where we can no longer say "that will never happen". There are certain records that are soooo far away that it seems it will never be touched...but a back to back superbowl champ can easily be achieved.

i'm not saying that it can't, and i am not counting the bucs out, but if i had to put my money on one side, i'd wager that the bucs will not repeat. there is no dominant team. until someone widens the gap, there will not be a team who will win back-to back sbs.

I can't believe how much this board proves that the Titans really are the forgotten team of the NFL. I remember a poll a couple months ago that asked who the best quarterback in the league was, and out of the ten or so choices, Steve McNair wasn't even listed. Now we're asking who next year's Super Bowl champion will be, and Denver, which didn't even make it to the playoffs last season, is listed, but Tennessee, which made it to the Conference Championship, is unlisted. How hard could it possibly be to put all four teams that played in the conference championships up there?
Now, do I think they'll win it all this year? Not quite. Another fallout in the second or third round of the playoffs seems likely. However, as of now, I can definitely see them as favorites for the 2005 Super Bowl. Tyrone Calico will be in his second year and give McNair two quality recieving threats, and the increasingly overmatched Eddie George will probably be replaced by someone who gets more than 3 yards per carry. Even though they might be a year away, I don't see how it's possible to leave Tennessee off a list like this.
Anyway, back on topic. This year's Super Bowl..... I have to say the Steelers. I don't think Maddox is a one-year wonder. It's pretty hard to be with the incredible recieving corps he's got there. They missed last year's conference championship by a running into the kicker call, and I think they'll be able to push all the way this time.
