His knees may just be gone beyond repair...I think its time to let him loose and bring in a reciever or a corner...

Never made it back to a full serious season. It's unfortunate that he never really panned out and keeps seeing more of the rehab room than the field, and like a job like his, its better to release him, create a workable roster spot and let him sit, slowly, I mean ever so slowly, once again, let him start over or retire. Liability is what he's becoming and we need that roster spot for a CB/OL FA.

I tend to agree, this left knee of his has been an issue for going on 3 years now. Unfortunately, he is one of our younger guys on the DL, so I would replace him with another DT, if we were to cut him loose.

This is why we kept Cedric Killings. If Noble goes on IR at some point the maybe we see a practice squad CB move up.

ANOTHER running back on the roster? I doubt it.

Shoot, what I meant was CB. I'm gonna edit my other post thanks.

Oh, sorry 'bout that. I agree about another corner. :)

this is very unfortunate, and it might be time for us to cut our ties with noble he seems to be injury plagued. I thought he played well last year though and had high hopes for him this year.

I wouldn't have a problem seeing him go. After all, at one time in his life, he was a Cowboy.

it is a shame as Noble seemed like he was gonna come back and make a strong run but we need to seriously look into an upgrade next offseason or even sooner

I would like to see if he bounces back from this in a few weeks before we let him go. If we were to get an injury to a DT he could prove very valuable.

This sucks. I'm still rooting for Brandon. He is a regular guest on ESPN All Night on the radio during the regular season and is one of the most positive players I think I've ever heard. Nothing but praise and respect for coach Gibbs and everything he wants to achieve here. He's a local guy from Virginia Beach.

I hope this is just a minor setback.

He has been a good player when in the lineup and I like him too.

Do we even have a CB on our practice squad that knows our defensive plays?

LOL, you know in the days of Gibbs era 1, they use to have guys hidden that were disguised as janitors and such at old Redskins Park, during public practices. There would be an injury and some guy no one ever heard of would step in and play well.
Now it would be hard to pull that off these days but when I see some names pop up on IR and the PS that I've never heard of, it makes me wonder...

same here...i heard him on a radio interview a few months ago and i got the same impressions about him. he's really not very old yet (31) and only going into his 6th year, so if he can just get healthy he could have some productive years left. he should be a quality backup at worst, and at best he could share time with Griffin and Salavea in a rotation to keep everyone fresh.
