If I am not on much this next week its probably because I have no power. :(
Its supposed to hit on early tuesday.

Tex, if you don't mind, can you tell us where you live? I would like to know so I/we can watch the storm and hope that it doesn't come near you.

I live in Brownsville Texas....we are now under Hurricain watch..I just hope we don't get hit hard...my new house is going up. :(

I kinda know what you're going thru. As many know, NC is hit pretty regularly by Hurricanes. My wife has relatives that live near the coast. Her aunt live right on the beach front at Emerald Isle.

Never!! It is said to be hitting tommorow..we went from watch to warning..so sounds like its for sure now.

Just an FYI Brownsville is the southern tip of Texas, right on the coast. I feel for ya "TexSkin", and will be praying you and families safe keeping. I'm going on vacation thursday and have a beach house in Port Aransas reserved, I think at this point it's going to be canceled.


Are you packing out of B-Ville Tex?

Woot thanks for the support guys but looks like its gonna barely miss us. Thats a sigh of relief. Of course its still early in Hurricain season so I am just cautiosly optimistic.

I was wondering if it hit. I don't know if I would want to live in with that fear everytime there was a chance of Hurricane. Do you get hit a lot down there or was this a fluke one?

Na actually have not had a bad Hurricain in ages down here. there is aslo plenty fo time to prepare for one as opposed to a Earthquake. We were lucky though it hit right above us and all we got was just a little rain.
