I have a new found respect for Omar Stoutmire. I don't remember him commanding this kind of respect on the Giants defense. That hit on Muhammad that caused him to fumble was what every safety dreams of. I was at the game and to tell you the truth, with a hit like that I kinda assumed it was Sean Taylor. Mushin still hasn't practiced but he is probable for Sunday.
Nice FA move Redskins.

The broadcasters said it was Rogers who laid that hit on Muhammad I beleive, not Stoutmire.

Either way...it was a great hit, and I'm sure the Dallas receivers have watched in while studying film this week.
If I were a Dallas receiver, I'd be scared to death to be hit by any one of our defensive backs...
Lets hope this sticks in the back of their mind as they are running crossing patterns over the middle of the field.

It looked like he got bounced like a pinball between two guys to me but I couldn't tell who they were. I was too busy watching the ball, I really thought it was a fumble.

That's what I thought too Rich, still haven't seen the replay as I was at the game with you guys, does anyone on here who was watching it on TV know if it was in fact a fumble/bad call, or did he just get blasted at the moment he caught it? I did want to know that...

Anyone think Smoot could have or would have been willing to do THAT? Here's to hoping for a speedy developmental process for Rogers, could be the best corner taken in the draft:)

I know one of them was Shawn Springs, but he didn't make the big hit. I think it was Stoutmire.

Did anyone record it to confirm who hit him?

Stoutmire made the initial hit and Springs was behind them.

Whomever it was I like hearing about this. That secondary back there is very physical. I really like the physicality Rogers brings to the table versus Smoot. Stoutmire and Priealou were great pickups.

That was a fumble on that play. He landed and turned, and then the ball came out. I didn't egt too pissed about it since it was thrid down anyway.
But whoever laid the hit, kudos to you!!

It pissed me off since it would have given our offense a shorter field to play with.
OMT, I don't like Stoutmire. Even if he does play for the 'Skins. I'll never forget that cheap hit he put on Leslie Shephard when he played in Dallas. He broke LS wrist with a late hit. Another late hit that went uncalled.

Hey, maybe this Monday he'll break Meshawn's head. Would that make it up to you?

I love our DB's too, I think in nex years draft we need to draft one more promising young DB and then well be set back there for about 4-5 years out LBs are already set for that long now all we need to worry bout is that DL which we can upgrade a bit.

Good job RV, so the big hit was Jimoh and the rebound was Springs and it still looked like a fumble to me.

Actually, Stoutmire and Jimoh switched numbers. So Stoutmire (#23) made the big hit and then Muhammad bounced off Sean Springs. I watched the video ten times and had to pause it to read Stoutmire's number.

Gotcha, I thought RedskinsVision was joking about the number switch. I was crediting Jimoh with a good game and now it turns out to be Stoutmire, lol.
