Man listening to Portis's cool confidence in himself is so exciting and reassuring. He doesn't get all hyped about himself. He just knows he's going to perform. Not to change topics, but thats one thing I've always looked for in Ramsey that he hasn't shown me. Confidence in himself. Anways, I get so excited thinking about Portis running every week its ridiculous.

I can't wait for Monday night ;)

I cant wait for monday night either. I cant wait to see that Defense play hit Bledsoe a couple times. I hope Sean has some pay back in store for the WRs especially Crayton since he caught that game winning TD on his side of the field.

I like how Clinton says we have 16 more games left! I guess he is optomistic

:lol1:

Thank god he is pumped for Dallas, cause we need to run the ball 40 times to win. Cause Dallas is not gonna respect dink and dunk Brunell

I think they'll respect him more then "Pass the ball to the defense more then the offense" Ramsey.

Maybe, but I still think we benched our best option at qb

If by best option you mean most likely to turn the ball over in the red zone, then yeah, we certainly did.

I don't know about you, but I'd take 3 points over 0 any day of the week.

Portis is going to run all over Dallas on Monday night football! He and "L" will combine for 200 yards.

At least when Patrick turns it over, it's in our own redzone, as opposed to the opponent's redzone.

That's a good thing?

I don't recall Brunell getting tackled for a safety, and, quite frankly, I could care less about the starting quarterback as long as I don't see us throwing picks and I see us running it into the endzone.

I don't think you followed my sarcasm properly in this thread, might want to go back and try again. Because I agree with what you just said.

I hope the line opens some good holes for him and the passing game is productive. If the line keeps blocking like they have Portis will get a hundy.

Anyways, about Portis, I think it's great. This guy is a ton more mature than anybody else to come out of the U lately (except maybe for Vilma; he seems pretty upstanding when not getting punched by his teammates), and somebody that really will command the respect of everybody on this team. The fact that he's willing to sit out on some of his carries is a team-first kind of act that many star running backs just wouldn't do.

I've recently watched some Portis highlight reels, and my commendations to whoever made them - he/she included several downfield blocks for QB's/recievers that few - if any - other superstar RB's would make given a similiar situation.

This, to me, puts Portis on an entirely different level then any other RB in the game. The guy is a total football player. People may say that Sean Taylor is the best athlete on the field, but I'll be damned if theres a better football player out there then CP (and he's only in his 4th year :D :D )

Cant forget about LT in San Diego.. He is the best all around back. but Portis is easily in the top 5

If the Redskins don't go out and physically dominate this game, they won't win. We need the two headed monster of Clinton Betts to gett about 40 carries and we need to physically wear down Dallass. Mix in some opportunistic play action and screens, and I think we can do this... What I don't want to hear is whining about penalties or how we beat Dallass big time for 59 minutes.

Gentlemen, we need to beat that team down to the point where the fans hurt when they leave the stadium. If the Redskins don't take this personally, and win this game, we may never beat them again.
