Here's an article from the Wash Post about training camps gearing up. Talks about how Modell thinks his team this year is better than the one that won the Superbowl. There are also some comments from Vinny C.

I am not sure they are better than the team that won it all but they might be pretty good, they have set a blue print for rebuilding, I hope Synder uses in 3 or 4 years when it is our turn

I just can't wait to see the pigskin flying everynight on the news. Darn SS just had to take them from Carlisle or I would try to get there 2-3 times a week....arrrghhh

Yeah 57... I agree that sucks. I will only get to camp once this year... unlike last year when it was a short 15 min drive for me 2-3 times a week!

If I lived 15 minutes away from TC, I'd be divorced quickly. I'd be there every night of the week.

my wife half joked that I should rent an apartment in Carlisle for camp, and I completely agreed.

Yup, no doubt, if camp was in Carlisle, I woudl be there at least 5 to 6 times. Since I live in Cumberland County, and Carlisle is Cumberland County seat, between practices, I can just go over to the courthouse and sit through divorce proceedings. Once the afternoon starts though, My Attorney woudl have to get the hearing adjourned!

Centerville! You practicly live at Redskins Park! I live 25 miles S of Roanoke aprox. 225- 250 miles from camp. My friends and I usually come up for 2 days of camp. We will be there on the 1st and 2nd.

Not really...Fed Ex Field is quite a drive away from us Northern Virginia folks. (especially on gameday)

All we have to do is win a couple championships... SS will be satisfied that he came, he saw, and he conquered.. he then quits and we bring in a coach who wants to get back to tradition... and wala!!! Carlisle again!:muzic:
