Saw it tonight and it was more funny than scary in my opinion. For example, the diarrhea eyes (you'll only get that if you've seen the movie.) There are only a few genuinely scary parts, other than that, it's just funnier than it is scary. A lot of like I guess middle school kids or freshmen were in the theatre when I saw it, kinda ruined it. That was until the security guard or whatever basically told them all to "shut up or the whole front section has to go." They shut up after that.
It says this is a true story, but it is very, VERY loosely based on that story.
I'd say it's worth seeing, though. Seems better than anything else in the theatres at the moment. A lot of "wtf" moments though.

I thought Constant Gardener was a pretty good movie, but you're right there's not much out right now.

Santheb, have you seen The Exorcist ? If you have, you would know that no movie of that genre could ever touch the horror of the original demonic possession masterpiece. I am a huge horror movie fan of all genre's but nothing ever scared me for a long time after, like that movie. It was simply the scariest movie ever made, IMO.

No sir I haven't. This movie isn't anything related to The Exorcist though. I really don't know what that has to do with anything :/

ive seen the exorcist, the first one, and the new exorcist that came out in like 04 or 03. First time i saw the exorcist 1, it was really freaky. its scary, but i dunno, the way to describe it is unpleasent. just the thought of someone saying the things that the little demon girl said is just wrong. it was one of those movies that just seeing it makes u feel like u commited a sin or something.

I know its a different story but it is about demonic possession, no? I was just making a recommendation of a similar type movie that, IMO, is the most frightening movie ever made. Sorry, if you misunderstood me.

Oh :P Yeah I guess I did.
I'm typically not a big fan of horror flicks unless they are the B-rate movies, which are hilarious. The Exorcism of Emily Rose isn't b-rate, but it's still amazingly funny.
