I for one can't wait to see it. Please do not turn this into a debate about religion as everyone has different beliefs. I respect them all. I just thought it takes some real guts to make this film and I can't wait to see it.

Pretty much looks like a movie about Jesus, which has been made before and was an old movie so I'm not sure if it created alot of controversy. I work in a movie theater and if we get that movie, I'll be interested to see how much crowd and what response it draws.

Its called "The Passion" it was directed and produced by Mel Gibson. Its about the final days of Jesus Christ. It is extremely graphic and pulls no punches. The whole movie uses the dialect from the time. Rumors stated that it will have no subtitles but I hope thats not true. Anyway the trailer had me wanting to see this very much.

Well even if it's no good. It's not gonna be like Titanic or Saving Private Ryan where someone said "I was there, and it didn't go down like that!".
Hey maybe that's why he chose it...

What cracks me up is I visited many movie forums with poster who liked to make fun of this movie because they are not lemmings and dont believe in all this crap. They try and sound unique and cool but whats funny is they all sound exactly the same. I for one applaude any person who tries and brings something different to the table. I would be intrested in this movie if it dealt with Budha or any other religion. I just applaud Mel for doing something other then the endless crap that Hollywood always puts out.

When you were talking about Jesus, I figure Dieon might be in as close as he says they are:twak: ...sorry that was just wrong
I wonder how people will react to this also

It is amazing how someone can put out a movie promoting drugs and immorality, and hollywood stands up to applaud... but when someone decides to go against the grain and put out a movie about some good truth... everyone throws a hissy.
Strange.

Skinz, I agree. Seems Hollywood only likes drugs, sex and violence. I just think someone will complian loudly over this and that is wrong
