Hey everyone,

A big problem with phoenix (other than 115+ weather) is that we can't get the redskins preseason games on TV. I was wondering if someone was going to tape the games, if they could make a copy for me. I know there are a lot of skins fans here in AZ so if I get a copy I can make copies for you all. I'd gladly cover the cost of shipping and tapes and the hassle... just want to capture all of the championship season, :twak:

Thanks

I know how you feel...I know its not the same but you can listen to the game live usually on NFL.com Juts go to the radio section. I heard all of last years preseason games on the internet radio.

That's a good suggestion.

Thats the biggest gripe I have with ComCast out of DC. They show all of the Ravens games. I've never understood how a DC sports channel could carry the Ravens.

I'm sure the Redskins have a contract with another affiliate in DC, but it still pisses me! lol

Is there no channel on DTV that covers preseason??? I know I watch all the skins games on the NFL sunday ticket, living in New Mexico, it's the best thing I did!!! I did manage to watch 2 preseason games last year on the dish, but I'm not a preseason fan so I don't know if they show all of them or not.

No NFL ticket only covers the season...sometimes we might get lucky and see a game because it is broadcast from the oppenents side...I had to listen to every game on the internet last year. It really was not that bad except for the commentars were mostly baised toward the home team. The Steelers was hard one to listen because they had this radio guy thats voice just got on my nerves.

Yeah, I get force fed the O's too. If DC gets a ML team in the near future I wonder which ComCast will show?

I"ll get to see at least on game this year during the preseason. Either live or on TV. Our first preseason game is in Charlotte. I'm not sure if I want to go down for that one since it'll be the first game and most of the guys that I want to see play won't play more than 1 or 2 posessions.

Don't forget Truant Sports Illustrated will be selling a complete 2003 Chamionship season re-cap Video/DVD of the Redskins in February, with a new subscribtion of course.

Oh, you had a bad reaction to Myron Cope, the Steelers' legendary radio voice. He's a beloved icon in the Steel City. I'm from Steeler country and he's probably one of the only things I can appreciate from that team backed by belligerent retards (note that most of my friends are big Steeler fans). I believed he coined the term "El Stinko" which he uses when the team is playing poorly. I actually don't think he is too ridiculously biased in terms of calling plays on the field. He's just insane.

Oh yeah...I know what you mean...I've had to watch Red Sox vs Yankees on the YES network, and those announcers just make me sick. Especially at the end if the yankmees win..."thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yankees win"...sounds like he's playing with himself or something.
