I like Rush... but this is just plain stupid. What does he have to say about football that any of us want to here? Just another dumb move to boost failing ratings.

first Dennis Miller, now this? I may agree with Rush on a lot of issues. But, I sure as hell don't want to hear him disect a pass rush or an offensive play.

Why can't they just let the football guys handle football?

Apparently he knows his football inside and out, which is the complete opposite of Dennis Miller. It will be interesting to see how he fares.

He actually does know a alot about football...the man is a huge fan of the NFL.

Huge fans are a dime a dozen. At least Miller had a few funny moments every now and again. Rush's gig is politics and they're not going to let him drone on with his slanted opinions on air. I just don't see the point then. He's out of his element and not entertaining. I know that Chris Rock auditioned for Miller's spot a few years ago. Why not give him a shot if you're going to pull someone out of left field? :cussing:
