George Michael just revealed that Sonny Jurgensen became ill before the game on Monday, although he went ahead and did the broadcast. When he got back home he checked himself into the hospital. Doctors decided that he needed to have his gall bladder removed. George seemed to imply that he was still in surgery at this very moment.

Sonny! Possibly my favorite Skin ever...he's like a cool old grandfather to all us Skins fans....

And hopefully Ray Rhodes gets better, too! Had no idea about that stroke...

He should be fine, my mother-in-law had it done recently and she is in her '70's.

Looks like he is out of surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
