Yankees star Derek Jeter is the latest athlete to receive a threatening letter warning him to stop dating white women.

Jeter, picked by People magazine as one of the world's most eligible bachelors, has been linked with models, singers, actresses and athletes of various racial and ethnic backgrounds in New York's gossip columns. His mother is white and his father is black.

Seems to me that he is dating women of his own race. From the pics I've seen in the past, both races.

I mean, am I missing something here?

Yeah, since he's two races, you can't say that he's betraying his "race". And apparently this mental midget has been sending letters to all sorts of sports figures. They should shoot this guy as soon as they find him. And is any bigot a "smart" bigot?

I would imagine that somebody as famous as Derek Jeter would get all kinds of mail. Marriage proposals, folks who think they've known him in a past life, etc. Those are crazy people and you can take those with a grain of salt.

But I think you'd have to lump this clown into almost a terrorist or threatening group, as per say a Boston fan who makes a threat against Jeter. It is hate, pure and simple and it would concern me if I got a letter like that.

Nothing like a little bigotry to help the powerful come down on the heads of the black and the poor. What do you think? CNN will issue an apology? Fox News will hang its head? How long will it take the new word to spread that the media et al developed a lie in order to help justify the abandonment of the victims of the New Orlean's disaster?
I guess godly folk will now just have to focus on the myth that the drowned poor were lazy...at least until surveys show a number of the dead were elderly, young, or working two jobs.

Reports of anarchy at Superdome overstated

Bystanders watch as National Guard troops move about the area outside the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans on Sept. 2. The vast majority of reported atrocities committed by evacuees at the Dome — murders, rapes and beatings — have turned out to be false, or at least unsupported by any evidence.

NEW ORLEANS — After five days managing near riots, medical horrors and unspeakable living conditions inside the Superdome, Louisiana National Guard Col. Thomas Beron prepared to hand over the dead to representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Following days of internationally reported murders, rapes and gang violence inside the stadium, the doctor from FEMA — Beron doesn't remember his name — came prepared for a grisly scene: He brought a refrigerated 18-wheeler and three doctors to process bodies.

"I've got a report of 200 bodies in the Dome," Beron recalled the doctor saying.

The real total?

Six, Beron said.

This does show why we are both loved and hated as a nation. One, we seem to be all over the world telling of our way to the future and beyond and how to treat people. Yet the small percentage of Elementary School dropouts, keep going after high value targets, getting exposure through our sometimes senseless media and allowed to parade their terrorist/extremest ideals with the help of our tax dollars (police protection). Funny, we fried the French on selling out, but isn't racism, a HITLER tool!

You know, I've made it clear in the past that I don't permit accusations of racism in this forum unless there is really clear and convincing evidence that a person is racist. It is too easy to throw around accusations of racism, treason, fascism, communism, etc. There are plenty of genuine racists in this country without people who are not racists -- like Akhh -- being accused of it for no good reason. For that reason I'm going to do some editing in this thread.

And I'm warning you, Painted Bird, that you better knock off these casual accusations of racism or you'll find yourself spreading that poison at a different Redskins website.
