I won't tell you which team is mine until after people comment...
The trade was as follows:
Portis
Witten
J. Porter
for
R. Moss
Troupe
Moore (RB for Minnesota)
What do you think?

I might do that if I werre getting Moss, Troupe and Moore assuming that Moore start the rest of the way for Minny. Moss is 80 yards and a TD every week. Troupe will end up with 6 TDs an Moore just became the starter on a Minny teams that recognizes that it needs a running game -- desperately.
Really, for me, it's six of one and a half dozen of another. Too many variables with Moore, Porter never did "break out" and Portis hasn't even faced an average defense yet. Unless you really just had to have Moss, I wouldn't bother until after this weekend.

It really depends on the rosters of each team before the trade. Can you share?
That way we can determine which team made out better in the long run...

I would only make that trade on the side receiving Moore if I had two solid starting running backs other than Portis.

The arguments for each were as follows:
1) McCallister is our only real RB. 0-3. Getting little from the TE position.
2) Keep losing close games with Rudi/Portis/S. Davis. Looking for a home run threat.

Yeah that looks good really for both teams. I would make the trade.

I would wait but than again, as soon as you trade Portis, he will go nuts, so go ahead and do it! :D

Top team needs another QB. 1 QB?

Do you get points for receptions or just for receiving yards? In my league, we get 1 pt per reception - it makes WRs as valuable as RBs.

I would say its pretty even, if it filled both of your needs then it was a good trade. The waiver wire is where I have been doing my damage.
