Please post all media power rankings here.
ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking)
11 (15) Redskins 3-0-0 Pretty amazing -- the Redskins are 3-0 and have won their games by one, two and three points. They keep that up and they'll get their first double-digit win against the Raiders in Week 11.
Hey we moved up 4 spots!
Yahoo (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cr-rankings100405&prov=yhoo&type=lgns)
11. Washington Redskins (3-0) – Still waiting for the wheels to fall off with Mark Brunell at the helm? He was huge under pressure in the win over Seattle, completing 11 of 15 passes on third down for 138 yards.
CBSSportsline (http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/powerrankings)
7 Washington Redskins 9
The resurgence of Mark Brunell is a good story. Maybe the game hasn't passed by Joe Gibbs after all.
NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8926272)
8. Washington (3-0; unchanged): Mark Brunell continues to make Joe Gibbs' quarterback switch look like a smart decision rather than a snap judgment.
Garbage(aka FOXSports) (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4931952)
18. Washington - Last Week 18: What do the 2004 Jaguars and 1999 Patriots have in common? Like Washington, each team started off the season with three straight wins of three points or less. Neither team made the playoffs. Other teams that won three straight games by three points or less include the 8-8 Raiders of 1998 and the 9-7 Dolphins of 1999. Both teams went 2-6 over the second half of the season. That Dolphins team did make the playoffs, though, where they were pummeled 62-7 by Jacksonville. NEXT: at DEN
CNNSI (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writers/dr_z/10/05/ranks.week4/index.html?cnn=yes)
8 Washington Redskins (3-0)
The last contest was a tough, bitter, hard fought affair against the Seahawks, and do you know how many penalties were assessed on the Skins? Two for 10 yards. This is what is known as discipline, and I don't mean the kind you see at 2 a.m. on TV with the leather and the spikes.

A respectable showing against Denver this week (win or lose) should keep us in the top 10, if not raise us a few points. We're winning games and w/wins comes respect. Now let's see how we can handle a little bit of success.

I would agree with most of those rankings actually. Even though NE and SD are 2-2, I don't think we're to their level yet. Maybe soon though. I'm loving the progession though. Keep it up Skins. One game at a time and let's handle Denver. That will garner mega respect.

Well yeah, but but what odds would you lay on that...
Actually, what odds would you lay on:
Us winning a game where we only kicked FGs
Us winnning in little D when we were down 13 with about 5 minutes remaining.
Us winning after an opposing kicker nails a game winning FG only to have it miraculously sail left and hit the upright
Maybe we're on to something special here.

^^^ Agreed :) we will be much higher in the rankings if we win those 2 games. but our d has to step up and not give up big plays down the stretch like against seattle and our offense plays well and moves the ball consistently against a great denver d. we also shud be puttin up on the mid 20's in points, and not let kc's offense dominate our d. their d isnt that great, kinda like seattles, so hopefuuly we can move the ball well against them. if we go 2-0 in these next two tough road games, then the respect will start coming and teams will be afraid of what we have goin on.

Wilbon had a great Gibbs quote on PTI yesterday. He said the Skins may be lucky but could also develop into a really legit team and their performance reminded him of this Gibbs quote, "First you win, then you get good." I think that's exactly right, let's see how much better this team can get throughout the year and keep piling up the W's in the act.
There's only one Power Rankings I'm waiting to read.

We've got to beat Denver this week or stupid comments such as these are going to persist. The national press is so in love with Shanahan that if we beat Denver, they'd have quite the dilemma -- say that Denver isn't as great as they're touting them to be or give us our props. Either one would be fine with me.

Don't know if anyone else noticed this in the Fox Sports one, but they have our defensive ranking as 16th.
And I love how this guy is promoting his own stupid as bad word site.
The FOXSports.com NFL Power Ratings are based on the innovative DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) ratings from FootballOutsiders.com. The DVOA system breaks down every single play of the season and compares each one to the NFL average based on situation and opponent. Each play is judged on both total yards and yards towards a first down.
Teams are ranked by a formula that combines the team's rating at the end of 2004, our 2005 pre-season projections, and 2005 actual performance. Each week, the first two items will become less important, and the last item more important. (2005 performance is now one-half of the rating, while last week it was just one-third.) By Week 8, we'll only be basing the ratings on this year's games, and starting the next week, we'll start using a formula that makes early games less important so that we can account for teams that are heating up at the end of the year.
Guess who posted the article? A fella named Aaron Schatz. Guess who started footballoutsiders.com? You guessed it, Aaron Schatz!

I love the way props are over-extended to the Giants because Eli is Peyton's brother. Sure he's the Giants QB, sure he's doing better, but you can't sell me the Giants team over the Skins, much less the hated Cowpokes! Surely there's some chicanery going on there, so let them have the way on paper. We'll take the one in the standings. I expect a slugfest, to soften up the line, but hasn't Washington owned theirs.
So the lofty given 6 or 9/10 spot over DC and Dallas is fine with me, creates more incentive for the Skins to bang dat a--.
Oh yeah, Santana, take the team to a really nice "nuetral" spot to eat, so there' s no mystery meat in the breakfast!
