holt had bruce, proehl, and, 2 years ago, hakim to take the pressure off him. coles had nobody.

He will be a salary cap problem for the Rams eventually.

I'm happy for a player like Holt to get paid. He has done his job. Sure he has had help. But the man can flat out play. He has all the potential to be a #1 WR in the NFL. He has the size, speed, and hands.

To choose between Holt and Coles would be a hard decision for me. I remember reading that Holt is/was huge Redskins fan growing up in North Carolina. He was hoping the Redskins would draft him back in '98. (?) Instead, we traded all of our #6 spot for all of the Saints draft picks and wound up taking Champ instead.

Looking back, it worked out well for both. We have our shut down corner and he's getting paid very well.

glad to see he is a Rams cap problem as we have enough of our own. I am glad we got Champ instead of Holt nothing against Holt but Champ is the man.


Coles not having anyone else.... Did you notice a 1000 yd reciever last a 2nd round steal(hoprfully) in the draft....
