Man, I would have jumped at this deal if I were the Redskins!!?? Not that I have any clue if there were discussions, but if he can stay healthy a guy like Fonoti really would help this football team. As it is he get to get his grove on the team that scores more at sea than they do on land... Oh well.

Dude weighs 408 lbs from what I've heard. Just what I've heard, the article says 350, so they are more than likely right.

Its a good deal for the Vikes PROVIDED they can resign Fonoti after this season. He's a FA after the season so if its only rent a player its a bad deal but for now it looks better. I think the Skins are set with what they have in the starting lineup right now, Fonoti hasn't played all season so its not like he'll be missed in San Diego.

Yeah, I just think our o-line is really thin. If his weight is that bad then maybe it isn't as lopsided as it sounds, but they only gave up a conditional sixth rounder.

yeah, but the good news is that they traded a future scandal away....

good move for the vikes though. maybe they can move someone to center.

Fonoti is an absolute earth mover in the running game. Slow in pass pro, but the guy can run block like Tre' Johnson if he's healthy. And he's young. Good move by the Vikes.

Sounds like a good move to shore up the running game. Now they just need a running back and they may be able to run a bit. Where's Onterrio? Oh yeah I forgot.

Just heard three of the Chargers starting o-line are questionable for this weekend!!??? Now this moves makes even less sense.

Marty drafted Fonoti. He must have got tired of the weight issue or something else popped up. I don't know why else you trade one of your starting lineman 6 games into the season.
