Pirates and Angels

Tonight I am taking the family to see both Pirates of the Carribean and Charlies Angels. So if anyone has seen them let me know if they are any good. I have heard a lot of good things about Pirates

I havne't seen either movie. My wife went to see The Pirates of the Carribean. She liked it. I don't know about the new Angels movie...

Can't speak for those two movies, but the wifie and I just came back from Bad Boys II. If you enjoyed the first one you will love this one. Action and comedy throughout.

Why is it usually if a movie gets a good review it sucks and if it get a bad review people like it.... Do these critics watch the same thing as normal people.
The reason I said that is I just saw on CNN some guy saying Bad Boys 2 was very bad. As matter of fact the only one he like was How to Deal and Seasbiscuit which isn't even out yet :D

I agree Jeff. Whenever the wife and I see a bad review we pretty much know that we will enjoy it.

"Pirates of the Caribbean" is brilliant. Johnny Depp is magnificent and the special effects are impressive. It's very campy and funny, just the right tone for the movie.

"Charlies Angels 2" was poor, I thought. The original was much more fun. Bond movies are a lot more believable than the Charlies Angels sequel. I understand about things like willing suspension of disbelief, but there wwas too much disbelief to suspend for that flick.

I agree Spence Pirates was flat out a great movie, Depp was excellent

Angels 2 was not a very good mopvie at all, even though I am a hugh Demi fan so that was cool.

I would tell everyone to see Pirates it is well worth the time

Pirates was a fun movie.....CA2 I just could not watch the first so the sequel held no intrest for me.
