View Full Version : Call of Duty, MOH or Brothers in Arms?
I'm thinking of buying one of these 3 games. Which is the best WWII Shooter and why?

Call of Duty, never played BiA but it's better than MOH.
You know, I've only played MOH for PC. How hard is it to aim and stuff with the PS2 joystick?

I've only played it at my friend's down the street on Xbox. But it has 2 joysticks too. It's kinda hard to get used to but once you are used to it then you will be fine.

For PS2, I like BIA the best. I haven't played any of those on PC.

the first MOH games were made by the same people that make the CoD games today.

But which is better?
I finally bought Borthers In Arms, but the old one, Road to Hill 30, and it's a great game. Not like MOH or COD at all, you actually have to use real military strategy. You control other soldiers and give them orders to move to certain places suppress the enemy whil you flank them and hit them from the side or back. Great game.

You cant go wrong with B.I.A and C.O.D. Try playing Brothers.. on XBOX Live, its pretty fun.

And... there aren't any magical medical kits to replenish your health. My kids bought me (using my $, funny how that works) the new BIA Earned in Blood for my B-day but I havn't played it yet, I want to finish Hill 30 first.

I have one of the earlier Medal of Honor games, I just couldn't get into it. The commericals for some of the newer war games look great, I just dont know if i would like them.

I never played any of the MOH games, but I've heard everywhere that the first of them, Frontline, is by far the best. Anyone, know if this is true?

I played the first medal of honor and it didn't have any legs...bored of it after 2 days. I haven't played either of the other ones you were asking about, but I really like the battlefield series. It's not the most realistic, more of an arcade war game, but it's wicked fun.

Dont bother with MOH, its dull and cant compare with the other two IMO.
Playing Call of Duty is like experiencing the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan firsthand.

So what would you say is its downside compared to the other 2 and which of those is the best?

MOH's missions are generic and predictable, at least from what I have played and the graphics are not as good.
Best you ask: IMHO its Call of Duty, its funner and more involving, I cant wait for #2 on 360. This game makes you feel like youre really there, its a little hard to explain, MOH doesnt.
If you prefer the squad based shooters then ignore what I wrote before and go with BIA because that game is pretty darn good as well.
Just FYI, most magazines I have read have given COD higher scores than the other 2.
Hope this helps.

the last good medal of honor was Allied Assault. Play the omaha beach level and youll know what im talking about. COD is just an overall great series.
