I was thinking, everyone is wondering if SS will keep 3 or 4 RBs, lets say he does keep 4 what does that do to teh FB position, becuase I would hate to lose Johnson or Rock. Could we keep a total of 6 backs. I personally thing Watson will not make the team:(

I don't see the team keeping six running backs. I think Spurrier will want just five so he can keep 5 wideouts on the active roster at all times. I'm not sure who goes, but I can't see the team keeping more than three halfbacks.

i think it would affect the TE's. they could have just 2 TE's and train the FBs to play TE as well, just in case.

I still feel that we may keep all 4 rb's. Morton was not signed to be a rb. He was signed for special teams. If this was brian mitchel we were talking about, what would he be listed as? If he works out and becomes a good 3rd down back, great. It would still leave a space for a special teams player and I'll take any rb we have on special teams. they would all excel as they have in the past. I think we are deep enough on the o-line, especially with the versatility of some of the players there, that we could skimp a bit or even the d-line. there are a bunch of players there with very similar talents. one could be placed on the practice squad and could be elevated barring injury without much of an issue.
In all actuality I just don't want to see any of them go. I have a fondness for betts and watson and cutting trung would just look aweful.

I feel the same way..TE position is what will be effected.
