While i'm jabbing my face against the wall waiting for TC to start, how about getting some business out of the way before TC starts?

This will all be for the Redskins:

Player of the Year: Lavar

He'll really get to shine this year and it seems this offseason he's really feeling good and confident. We've seen him all over TV so it's easy to tell that he's comfortable and happy. That's not good for the rest of the NFL.

Trung or Betts- I think whoever gets the majority of the carries will really have a big year. There is a lot of pressure on Pat and these guys need to perform well to make Pat's job easier.

Comeback Player of the Year: Trotter

He's chomping at the bit to get out there and have more of an impact. He was having a good year IMO last year when he went down. I really expect him and lavar to be freight trains back there.

Smoot: No surprise if Smoot plays better this year, but that doesn't mean that won't be really happy about that.

Rookie of the Year: Jacobs

Not much to say here. Dockery could push him, but Jacobs should be a solid #3 this year.

Dissappointing Player of the Year:
Armstead

ehh... I don't really think that... but Jessie was lights out last year and age might start setting in.

Gardner- I don't know about this either, but i think Rod will have a huge year or a down one. With so many options at WR if he doesn't play well he could find himself losing out on some time.

Sack Leader: Bailey

Mike Vick rolls out and Bailey pushes him out for a 1 yrd loss. Bailey is our sack king with 1. ;) *sorry bruce

Free Agent Surprise: Bowen

Not so much a surprise with all the hardcore fans here. Bowen will be a nice change in the secondary and he'll make us a better team all around.

Patrick Johnson: I don't know if he'll get on the field, but if he does- he'll make some plays. This is a reach, but I think he'll be useful.

Breakout Player of the Year: Ramsey

He's just a beast. He doen't get rattled and the pressure in DC isn't going to get him. He just has to be solid this year, but I think he'll be more than that.

Pro Bowler:
D- Lavar, Champ, Trotter
O- Coles, Trung

2003 Record 11-5 T-1 in NFC East

These are my thoughts, now it's time to resume...

Interesting list. Bowen be a marked upgrade would surprise me somewhat. Why do I think this guy is going to get injured in camp and we'll be stuck with Terrell again?

Even if Trung does pan out as most in here think, he will still be splitting time enough to not allow him to rack up enough stats to make the Pro Bowl. I'm more optimistic about Armstead. I agree with most of the rest. I still say 10-6. Phillytown is still top dog. Hopefully, we can beat down the G Men for second.

Good points Hail...

I see trung (or our starting running back) sneaking in the Pro Bowl because the NFC backs just aren't that great. Mike Vick is probably the most exciting. Alexander, Faulk, McCallister are awesome... but after that, who's to say?
I don't remember how many backs they take, but if they take 4 i think that we could sneak one in... plus the fan vote baby!!

i think that trung will have no chance of making it to the pro bowl. i think that samuels should have been included in your pro-bowlers list.

Ok, here is mine;

DEF MVP: Arrington. He will be mor eloose int he Edwards defense, won't be lined up on DLine, the NFL is in for hell.

OFF MVP: Gardner. he will have a huge year. Coles will be doubled up. Jacobs provides another speed threat, which mean Gardner will be oen on one against probably the teams second corner. Big year for RG

DISAPP: Canidate. Betts will have the job by mid-season

BreakOUT: Patrick Ramsey. He will get all the attempts he needs, and the poise and commitment he showed this year, plus a full off-season learning the playbook and system, adding in a much improved OLine, and I think Patrick proves many experts dead wrong.

SURPRISE: Andre Lott. I think he sneaks up by mid-season and takes the job from Ohalate and becomes a good addition to the defense.

COMEBACK: Fred Smoot. New DC and back problems in the past, Smoot understand the importnace of performance htis year, especially after being felt in the off-season that he was expendable.

Offensive Player of the Year- Patrick Ramsey ( He does good, we do good)
Defensive POY- LaVar Arrington ( He will be used correctly this year)
Comeback-Fred Smoot (horrible at end, he will raise back)
Disappointment-Dave Fiore ( I have a weird feeling with him, I think he will get hurt)
Surprise- Rashard Bauman ( I think he can do something while on the field)
Breakout- Ifeyani Ohalete ( Ready to do it) also Matt Bowen in clsoe 2nd

Skins finish best team in NFL.

Ramsey, Gardner, samuels, Thomas, Jansen, Arrington, Bailey are Pro Bowlers
