Oh boy, this is gonna be a good one. All I want to see is a Tech victory. I want this to happen for two reasons, 1) I do like Tech. 2) I want this to blow open the BCS for a playoff scenario.

I want to see a good game and we should. I know it is two great Defenses but I still believe this game will be 35+ for tech and miami will get theres.

I hope tech loses a game this year but ill take it in the bowl game if they get there. Just no national title. Yes, I am a hater.

The University of Miami, Florida football team is not what it was in recent years. VA Tech is going to blow them out.

Off topic but I didn't want to start another thread just for this. Anyone seeing Carolina about to beat BC WoW! I missed most of the game, but I just turned it on and with 4 min to go UNC is up by 9.

Lol, you want the only National Championship in VA? For the record I was happy about the JMU championship.

Should be a great game, wish me luck in getting a ticket outside the stadium.

Can't wait for this game. The ultimate matchup with Little Vick against the vaunted Cane defense. I know there are a ton of Hokie fans on this board, but I think Miami is going to come through tonight although I'll be cheering for VT. They could easily be undefeated by now as VT is. Should be a helluva game.

Yes, I do want to be the only national champs in va but i have other reasons for cheering against tech like making my girlfriend mad (she goes there) and my parents (they met there)...

With FSU losing tho its going to take a lot for tech to get to the championship so I can live with them winning this game. I wonder how many of the skins players from the U are gonna watch this one? Preilou is the only tech guy i can think of that can give them crap after this game. Anyway lets hope for a good one.

You got that right, that orange sleeve is horrible. It looks like everyone on the team has an injured shoulder wrapped in orange tape.


Edit at 10:20 EST- Ouch, at least all you Tech fans won't have to worry about a BCS controversy anymore.

Thats funny because it definately reminded me of another game as well. Why do both my teams crush my hopes in consecutive weeks? Oh well life as usual in my career as a football fan.:banghead:

In my opinion,it was the bonehead penalties,poor playcalling,and lack of execution that cost Tech the game.

1]The penalties early in the game extended Miami drives.
2]The playcalling on offense and defensive was horrible.

When you have an aggressive Defense[Miami] against you,you should run misdirection to take advantage of their overpursuit.
On Defense,Tech couldn't amount or sustain a pass rush.The QB had all day to throw.Where was the blitz?
3]Execution
Turnovers,not making big plays,losing the battle of field position.

As a Tech fan,my hat is off to Miami.
They played a great game in hostile territory.

As for Tech,I think this may be their most talented team.
They came up short at the wrong time.
I hope this is a "one and done" and not another episode of a late season collapse.

I got to say the U surprised me. The way they opened the season i didn't think this team would win ,but maybe five games all year. But last nite at VT was a big . And now they earned some respect back. It'll be texas and USC now in the big dance for-sure baring any new upsets.

wow, everyone here was dejected last night. Hats off to UMiami, they came here, played damn well, and took it to us. We didn't show up last night, we played like crap, and got what we had coming with that level of play. I just cannot believe we blew a chance to go back to the BCS championship...oh well, there is always next year.

I dont think VT was prepared for the high level defense that Miami brought. Perhaps VT was overrated, but we will never know now. Vick looked awful during this game, 2 INT and 4 fumbles.
