just thought I'd let you guys know I'm heading to Boston on thursday (24th) for my mother's surgery. I won't be able to post for a week and a half or so after that. (no cheering emmanual8!) :lol1:

It's a long trip from here...I leave my house at 4:45am, and won't arrive in Boston til 4:45 ish.

There is a risk with a normal person...with her medical history it complicates things. The mortality rate is much higher.

Good thoughts and prayers for your Mother go with you. I hope she does well.

So when Mom is recovering and tired of the hospital food there are lot's a good restaurants around "Bean Town" Try the Bean Soup - it really is pretty good!

I lived in Boston for my first 22 years of life. There is a chinese place to die for up there...I'm sure I'll eat there morning noon and night.
I miss good food, and can't wait to have some.

jsarno, Tell your Mom that there are a bunch of crazy strangers out there that have her in their prayers!
